Indian TV does not & as far as I know never did show Pak TV.

very true.actually it illegal in pak to show indian channels but it is only naam ke vaasthe.indian news channels bash pak black n blue day in and day out.still they are being watched in pak.indian find it surprising but for pak it is everyday affair.no self respect and no patriotism

there are couple of historical reasons for why pakistanis became such thick skinned.
1.in ancient times their identity rested with india.now they joined balochs and pashtuns who neither share history nor culture with them.so,there is no feeling of being one.
2.pakistan has always been at the receiving end when foreigners invaded.you hardly find any pakistani king resisting foreigners.so,they are used to this bashing.you have to be pakistani to understand this not indian

one may ask the question:didnt afghan pashtuns or iranians also had to face these invasions?why are they united?why do they have self respect unlike pak punjabis?
the reason is iranians resisted foreigners.they may have had some defeats but they also conquered much of asia at one time.pashtuns had always been warrior tribes.the merger with pak was a forced one.so they havent yet assimilated into punjabi pak.both persians and pashtuns share same religion as well.so they still maintained their identity

on the other hand punjabis are broken into 2 groups.one is that of hindus and sikhs and the other is muslims.unlike pashtuns and persians there were no great emperors or warriors in punjab(ranjit singh is exception but he was very recent).so there never developed of feeling of being one even among themselves.there is nothing for them which they can be proud of;which binds them together.defeats were common in its history.this is the reason pak punjabis dont even respect their mother tongue too

history of any ethnicity or any race plays a crucial role in forming an identity of that race.can anyone name even a single state in india or any country in the world where the native tongue is not taught as a subject in schools?there you have the great pak punjab.
when you are not proud of ur identity and create a false identity for urself u r bound to be doomed.this is what is happening in pak.this is why it is not a big matter for pakistanis to allow indian channels inspite of the smashes they receive

would like to know, if Pakistan still has got any English channels? do you watch times now,ndtv,cnn-ibn,ht,newsx etc ? I believe these channels are better than the low standard stuff aired through hindi channels like aaj tak,abn news etc

Pakistan doesn't have any satellite television of their own. they illegal get dish TV, Tata Sky, Digital TV, Big TV etc from India if they desire to watch digital quality picture and despite none of them having any Pakistani channel, pakistani elight prefer these Indian product over their crappy cable
