PS: I find the host/interviewer a bit irritating and silly.
I find no offence it was just light hearted interview but as per your concern the anchor should be more sensitive but again he is considering him younger to him so it is cool. Don't take it seriously.

That's why I said a bit irritating...but at the same time, it brought the best out of the major.

I found the reporter to be totally disrespectful to the officer---. This officer survived a major major attack and injury to his self---.

He must be addressed with total respect and dignity that is due---.

The terms used should have been Aap---Batayain---Btayeeay---Janab---Please---.
