One year ago, the 7 Azad Kashmir Regiment did what it had to do: sacrifice 24 of its finest at Salala.

Respect to those who lost their lives in this unprovoked attack by NATO forces on Pak Army...

wellcome to the hotel carlifornia!

Stand by for more such incidents - "suffer slings and arrows of outrageous fortune --- OR by OPPOSING, end them" -- this is a choice for Pakistanis to make -

It happened on 26/11/11 On the same day as Mumbai Attacks in 2008, What Does this mean???

No Sir. With increase coordination and the new arrangements, the likelihood of such mistakes being repeated has been significantly reduced. There have been no instances since then.

I think this itself suggests that should US forces evaluate that Pakistanis are not being good boys, well then it will be time for many more unarmed, ill-trained Pakistanis servicemen, to render "sacrifices".

Fact of the matter is that while the generals of the Pakistan army contemplate their friendships with course mates in US military academies, ordinary Pakistani soldiers do not share such and indeed, do not look to meeting on golf courses and such - Only by physically opposing can Pakistanis ever be truly free of both terrorism and those who use the excuse of terrorism.

French connection!

There has been regular shellings on Pakistani villages and checkposts... no signs of co-ordination.

Are you implying that there is a growing gulf between the soldiers and the generals due to their being at odds over the purpose of Pakistan's participation in WoT?

It is not simply a matter of being good boys or bad. It is also a matter of stopping the use of non-state actors as a means of extending military power covertly into Afghanistan and Kashmir. That, I think, is a focal point.

Not by ISAF, and with no Pak Army casualties, as far as I can tell.

Certainly -

Yes, certainly, and therefore only by physically opposing both Terrorism and those WHO USE TERRORISM AS AN EXCUSE, can Pakistanis ever hope to be free.

Here, why I don't see those "Elite/Senior" members & "Moderators" bearing Pakistani flags & "RIP"ing on 26/11 thread(s) as if it were their blood relatives who were killed (by Indian agencies themselves).???

Looks like they are more sorry for those killed by indians themselves than for Pakistanis who were murdered unjustly. What a loyalty to ur flag guys!!! ...

A breakdown of unity within the Army is a worrying prospect indeed. Only Pakistani society at large can rid itself of the scourge of terrorism that is presently plaguing it, which is very real, regardless of anyone who may or may not be using it as a cover. However, the chances of success are bleak. Pakistan is heading towards a meltdown.

The gentleman has grudge issues.. and here as well has decided to focus on his personal angst rather than the loss of lives.
