Saina Nehwal wins Hong Kong Super Series​

NEW DELHI: Saina Nehwal on Sunday beat China's Shixian Wang 16-21, 21-16, 21-17 to win the Hong Kong Super Series. This is Saina's 4th Super Series title win.

Earlier on Saturday, overcoming mid-match blues, Saina Nehwal waltzed into the final of the Hong Kong Super Series with a 21-19, 17-21, 21-12 victory over Juliane Schenk of Germany in the keenly-contested semifinal at the Queen Elizabeth Stadium.

This was Saina's third entry in a Super Series final this year. She had earlier clinched the Singapore Super Series and retained the Indonesia Super Series title.

She also bagged the Indian Grand Prix Gold and claimed the Commonwealth gold medal this year.
