Lengthy talks for years, no China in, no activated SAARC.

India just want we are on a sinking boat with it, turning down all the helping hands from China, who has fund and tech. Modi is no Saint without jealous ness.

Note geographically China is also a South Asian country.

Then why doesnt Pakistan get out of SAARC if it thinks its Indias Hegemony?

It would become functional and beneficial to its member states if bully India is taken out of it and China inducted.

You are open to do that, you can create a new forum and call it whatever you want to call it. However, SAARC is better if we kick out Pakistan and forget that they will ever be cooperative.

Think seriously, for a second think Pakistan is a sea with a black hole and nobody can go there, now take that example and take it out of SAARC. We can do so many things. India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Bhutan. We can have better road connectivity, rail connectivity and then trade and easy movement of goods. We can offer satellite services to rest of SAARC.

The only reason SAARC is not working is because of Pakistan, stop thinking we can bring them on board and start thinking of life without them.

China is as much a SA nation as india is, China has borders with Afghanistan, Pakistan, nepal, india, Bhutan and myanmar. The only nations that it has no direct borders are Bangladesh and maldives, so if myanmar can join why cant China? China has a huge market, a lot to offer to give some life into this dying group and can bring balance.

We understand India's concern but it's asumed that India still want to play a dominant role in SAARC. That's a fact and you cannot pretending it's not there. It's not something deniable.

China has Tibet and part of it is certainly S.A. Don't forget India is still holding Tibet's exile gov.

Modi is nobody, as narrow-minded as anyone in India.

Just let SAARC gone if you keep your stance. No one want to come to a party to let India calling shots, showing your leadership here as you are not.

I would be happy if Bangladesh left SAARC. It provides us with zero benefits, so leaving a dead dohdoh of an organisation would save us a lot more time to concentrate on more effective organisations.
