my pick:

3 most brotherly:

1. China
2. Syria
3. North Korea

3 least brotherly:

1. Ukraine
2. Lithuania
3. the US

What's your pick?

. .
Russia wont have anything to do with North Korea. Not many countries will, although China will hold North Korea on a tight leash, like a domestic dog which has become insane.

As to Russia and Ukraine, if you draw a line from Crimea north east to the Russian border then the majority of the people to the east of that line will say that they are Russian and not Ukrainian.

Russia will have a cordial relationship with UK as London will get their hands on the Russian bank accounts eventually. UK have been doing that for the last decade. Russia is now adjusting to a new economy where oil is not above $100 per barrel. London takes control of the markets, so UK is laughing at the moment. It wont last.

Syria - now that is a strange one. The west cannot now make up their minds who they actually support - Assad was a bad person last year - now it has changed - ISIS is bad. Assad opposes ISIS... so who supports who?

Russia took a very sensible and pragmatic view- Dont try to take over the Syrian ports otherwise there will be trouble. No one did, or even thinks about it.

USA is definitely not on the brotherly list for Russia. Its almost embarrassing to see that US exports to Russia have stopped. OK for me - my bottle of Jack Daniels from Heathrow airport at £14 makes £60 in Russia.

.
Serbia:
Orthodox brotherhood: At the level of state and ordinary people as well. They have bonds with religion, common enemies in history and culture. They help each other many times; many serbian volunters help now in Novorussia.
Few videos as a proof, what I've written:

Belarus:
At the level of state strong bond. Besides the belarusian oposition which is muppet of the west intelligences, belarusians like russians.

France
The most pro-russia country in the West. Lots of common in history, but there was also a bad time between them, however they help each other many times for many reasons.

3 least brotherly:

USA
England
Turkey

Not as insane as South Korea which pumps out huge amounts of CO2 and keeps the night sky lit.

Syria and North Korea only suck billions from Russia.

The USSR, not Russia. The USSR was like the EU, where any member can voluntarily leave. The USSR was not a country.

.
China, Syria, Belarus, Serbia, Venezuela, Iraq, Iran, North Korea, Armenia are the most pro Russia because Russia is against extremist Islamism.

Lithuania, Poland, Turkey, Estonia, the US, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Georgia are the most hostile to Russia.

UK is very definitely on the side of the Russians, the UK has harboured many of its "businessmen" for many years and that is not going to stop because its money. Lots of money flowing through London, and especially in time of economic crisis, the Russians need a safe banking system to process the money. London does that. The Russians wont touch US banks but the British banks will. I'm not saying its right or moral or anything, its just the way it is.

UK is definitely on russian side, especially on these russians with huge amount of money (oligarchs). In history anglo-saxo world was enemy to Russia.

Britain in terms of policy is more hostile to Russia than France or Germany. But when you look at the international polls of how Russia is viewed in various countries British people are usually more sympathetic to Russia than French or Germans.

You must be joking: In terms of policy? More hostile than France and German? Yes you're joking.

If you aren't, so could you tell me what have they done something together recently, common buisnesses, investments, big contracts - whatever. Do they even have diplomatic relations?

I've forgot: friendly british press to Russia and Putin:
