If Japan is a far-right country that doesn't even have an expedition task force ,whole world should be one.The point of biological war is not so simple,smeared in both propaganda and reality.And not like it's just japan that tested biological warfare,many dozens of nations including china itself tried it since ancient times(I'm not talking about some lab virus conspiracy).
There's no nation that will be willing to show remorse periodically for others' appeasement,officially they apologized,they paid reparation fees,help development of the nations involved in war against Japan.It's due to the win of US and the Japanese meek generosity that have enabled politicians to seek political levy from blaming japan. The concept of war criminal is Ex post facto law ,it has no real legal basis ,the Tokyo War Tribunal is illegal;it's not a matter of debate unless you are talking with anti-logic nationalist on lvl of Trump supporters. They have been pardoned by law. The west has vested interest in vilifying Japan to justify the invasion of Asia and also for US to shield the nuke experiment on civilians. And China ,sadly carried on the western propaganda ,creating new landmines in asian geopolitics .
I can write long thesis about the comfort woman issue being the most absurd & typical" korean sauce" ;But Japan didn't deny it, officially Japan has always apologized on that issue and paid huge reparation fees.
But in short ,even US intelligence debunks the general accusation about comfort woman.
Rising sun is a cultural symbol,how can you ask a country to go against that? none would agree,it's not a political party flag like say swastika of Germany which y'all like to compare, that would be this
And ,if you have problem with the political ideology of Japan back than, take it on against this .The current japan doesn't have this political party or their insignia.
Regardless,the victor gets to define the villains .On an alternate reality,Douglas Mc Arthur,Trueman,Chiang kai Sek,Stalin,Churchill would have been named the no.1 war criminals,and I whole heartedly believe that would be a much more fair version .
