Turkey and China are two strong time tested partner for cooperation in missile sector. After 302mm and 600mm technology transfer programs. Different variants of above missile developed by Turkish industry are being exported to ally countries at present. At present, We are witnesses one of the most strategic system's ToT to Turkey from China again.

Along with Loramids program, We have two more strategic defence programs which China may take a part of them.

-2500km ballistic missile technology
-Satellite Launch vehicle based on above tech

Recently high end F-15I Engines were 'stolen' from an Israeli air base, one could only wonder where they ended up. :coffee:

Arab scrap metal traders....this sort of thing isn't uncommon in Israel, ammo disapears as well.

In recent years, a black market in metals has thrived, and thieves managed to steal parts of old F- 15 fighter jet engines and sell them as scrap.

The rest is your fantasy. Israel sells what they don't continue, ie Lavi, the AA missile tech Chinese obtained when working with Denel from SA, etc....
I assume out of this fantasy you also support the baseless claims made by some Chinese members.

It is funny to see some people getting butt-hurt when they see a country that has the money and the ability to purchase SAM systems from the US/EU and Russia choose China:lol:

They come up with claims of "it was the cheapest bid" and "the Chinese offered better TOT than the others" to explain away how the "inferior" Chinese can beat the "leaders" in arms technology.

The simple fact is that in the area of SAM technology the Chinese are now comparable to the best. A country like Turkey would not compromise it's security by buying an inferior system.

I think that the reason that the HQ-9 was even offered in the first place is that the Chinese are now very close to fielding it's successor.

This is just the beginning and the Chinese are set to go head-to-head with the US in around a decade's time. Both the EU and the Russia will be left behind by then.

Ignore the trolls, it doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that the HQ-9s including its ARM variants use different missiles.

China is busy developing HQ-19 which will match the performance of S-400 triumf.

Israel over time has sold crtitical technology to the Chinese, including Patriot, Lavi, Harpy, Python AAM, technologies. Some folks also suggest that the critical American softwares needed to develop helicopters and its pre prototype automation softwares were also sourced from Israel.

AIPAC shields Israel from any US backlash in public.

HQ-19 is already there, but we are developing its naval version HQ-26 which will be equipped by the Type 052D and Type 055 Aegis DDGs.

HQ-26 is our equivalent of the American SM-3.

Sm-3 ,S-400 and Hq-26 are similiar operational ranges . S-400 is very versatile while Sm-3 is only for ABM purpose . I think Hq-26 might have scope of being better if it is based on S-400.

29 December 2011 /TODAY’S ZAMAN Shortly after the production of an all-Turkish-made rifle was introduced on
Wednesday, Turkey announced plans to beef up its missile defense system, as
concerns simmer over the recent flare-up in regional conflicts. Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan ordered the Scientific and Technological
Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) to develop a long-range missile shield which
will be built by Turkish industries. On Wednesday, along with the prime minister, 13 ministers attended a high-level
meeting of the Science and Technology High Council and discussed boosting
Turkey's defense industry, including developing a long-range missile shield.
According to a report appearing in the Habertürk daily on Thursday, Erdoğan
referred to Iran as one example, saying that Iran successfully developed long-range
missile systems with a range up to 2,500 km relying on its their sources. Although Turkey already has a missile system of its own, it has produced only short
range missiles that have range up to 150 km, while Iran has conventional long
range missile systems, including the Shahab 3 and the Sejil, which could be used to
hit Israel and U.S. bases in the Middle East. Despite the fact that it has conventional
superiority over most neighbors, Turkey has ignored the development of its own
ballistic systems for a long time and has been heavily relying on NATO systems in that field. The main objective of the Undersecretariat for the Defense Industry (SSM)
is to produce a long-range missile system that has a range up to 2,500 km in the
near future.
Erdoğan also noted in the meeting that Turkey began mass production of ATAK
helicopters in 2013 which were designed in Turkey and will be the first helicopter
built by the Turkish defense industry. Additionally, the products of the Defense Research and Development Institute (SAGE)
in the defense industry will be commercialized just like in the US, and are expected
to contribute to Turkish economy, according decisions made during the meeting,
the daily reported. For the first time in republican history, a Turkish firm produced a domestic rifle for
the Turkish military which was 100 percent built and designed with domestic
technology. With the sponsorship of SSM, Kale Kalıp and the Turkish Mechanical and
Chemical Industry Corporation (MKE) jointly manufactured a rifle that passed Turkish
Land Forces tests.

Lavi, Python and early weapons systems from the 1980s were openly sold by Israel to China with American approval, they were not done in secret behind America's back. America backed the transfer of technology to China during the Cold War because of the Soviet Union. American and Israel even tried to set up a transfer agreement with China where they would transfer advanced technology to China in exchange for China manufacturing weapons to give to anti-Soviet fighters in Afghanistan, Angola and Niacaragua. America only imposed weapons sanctions on China because of Tiananmen square in 1989 when the Soviet Union was finally breaking apart.

HQ-9 is a Chinese made system no doubt about it, but its original design was helped with things learned from the S-300 purchase, i'm not trying to degrade the achievement of China they built a really good missile by improving a proven system

You are more unreliable than all of the others put together. Believe what you have to, its not going to change the reality.

Well, these missiles are all for intercepting medium/short BMs and LEO satellites, they are in the same league, i am not going to compare it for now.

Can anyone share the name/picture of Chinese 2500km ballistic missile ? Turkish officials was so serious When they were telling the (1500km-2500km)target ranges to be reached within 3-5 years so A new likely Chinese sercet cooperations came into minds again. Besides, It is known that Turkish industry developed ballistic missile technology up to 800km at present.

Along with those developments, Greek defence magazine underlined a new secret China-Turkish cooperation to develop Turkish variant of Chinese 1500km ballistic missiles to be joined into inventory.

Precisely, those anti China troll needs to come up with an excuse to shed humiliation. There was once even a China hater troll who claim if HQ-9 beats Patriot for Turkish bid , he will kill himself.

Of cos after that they will come up with excuse to hide their inferiority. Imagine Turkish evaluation report come out and claim Patriot and S-300 are crap compare to HQ-9, I wonder what excuse the hater will bring up?

They will say Chinese bribe the Turkish. When comes to bribing for military contract, nobody can beat MDBA or western countries. Remember the Rafale deal to Saudi and Agusta helo deal for India?

I tell you all those Hater will even come up with more absurd excuse like HQ-9 uses black magic that is why during trial test its superior...

What is the current program? Learn from China the metrics of this missile and than transfer the technology to the US. Then Turkey will cancel the purchase to protest the treatment of uighurs in China. China will end up with no money and its technology stolen.
