Russian MoD May Order 75 More Su-30SM Jets

If the Su30SM is only costing 30 Million USD, then why the hell are we even looking at Tejas

Tejas MK1 cost 28 Million USD

A 30 Million Su30SM can do the work of 3 Tejas

Wow if it is up to me I'd buy 160 of these in one time for the Iraqi air force making it the biggest and the best in mere 10 years.
Its Russian version.
Indian Sukhoi 30 MKI cost you $ 75 million
But it flight per hour cost $ 17000 per hour & require 35 man hour for after every time it gone airborne.

The mki that expensive because it use french and israeli made hardware if it was all Russians like the SM it wont be that high it would not more than 40-50 per craft.

But maintenance would be expensive.

My friend electronics not easy to break or need constant maintenance like engine the only electronic one that need maintenance is the radar planar array as read some wear. Other wise the MKI and the SM use the same engine but the SM3 now use the Irbis radar something you don't have.

But engine, hydraulics all other complex moving parts need enhance maintainence in all flankers, Russian Su-30 uses nearly same Ibris PESA radar which Indian one use & nearly same but uses Russian parts but still some parts are from France.
Su-35 Radar is different & powerful compared to all other Flanker variants.
So, it not effect that you are using Russian or Indian version of Sukhoi 30 , you would be pay nearly $ 17000 per hour fly cost & get 70% availibility rate if you done with highly efficient manner.
@MilSpec can explain it better as he is in this field.

Russia have various Su-27 variants, and share many parts and equipment. The above graph speaks everything about all cost composition and definations.

Bars and Irbis radars are comparable but bars is heavy thus canard is needed and both Sm and Mki have bars n001. Su 30 SM is based on MKI and have french, israeli, and indian component and for the export the customer can choose from them or russian subsystems and can fire new RVV-SD beyond-visual-range missile and the short-range RVV-MD.

Su 35 differ than both in having single seater, powerful powerplant which includes AL-41F1S engines with thrust vectoring, an advanced fly-by-wire system, and new optronic suite. The canard foreplanes are gone, since other aerodynamic refinements are sufficient to achieve super-maneuverability.

While Russia still hasn't introduced an active electronically scanned array radar — this will likely have to wait until the T-50 is ready — the Su-35S has the next best thing. The centerpiece of the avionics suite is the N135 Irbis, a follow-on to the Bars radar utilizing the same passive electronic technology.

But Super Sukhoi program will again bring MKI at par to Su-35 or may be more.

I can't see your picture if can load it again.

the Russian version is cheaper fir Russian
you have to keep maintain always it is st 75mil or 30 mil plane
but not every time you fly you have to land and maintain it
