Russian military planes have targeted the Al-Nusra-controlled area of Syria’s Idlib province where a Su-25 jet was earlier downed by militants, the Russian Defence Ministry said.
The military conducted “a massive precision weapon strike… on areas controlled by the Al-Nusra [terrorist] group,” the ministry said in a statement.

Moscow confirmed Saturday that a Russian Su-25 jet crashed in Idlib province, probably shot down by a man-portable air-defense system (MANPAD). The pilot ejected, but was killed by militants on the ground, the ministry said.

I think Russians fired the missile on the transponder of the Jet and got all terrorist while they were standing there.

No they published the video of dead pilot that confirmed that pilot cannot be rescued. Russians just fired 2 missiles one at Jets transponder and other at pilot beacon. Terrorist died. it is simple as that. this is modern warfare.

To me it seems these terrorist were noobs. like what type of idiot would publish a dead pilot video in an instance. Obviously Russia has satellites and drones operating in the area. The only reluctance was the chances of rescuing the pilot. When they published the video of dead pilot Russia would have leveled the ground. Every one knows what type of Russian fire power resides in Syria. Every plane has a transponder and every pilot has a beacon that gets active as soon as the jet take a hit and they just targeted the place.
