"Scientific Research Institute of Technology Progress" in Izhevsk created newest robotic complex "Platform -M" in the interests of the Russian armed forces . This armored robot controlled remotely armed with a grenade launcher and machine gun system for combat without direct contact with the enemy.
"Platform -M" is a universal combat platform , used for reconnaissance , detection and destruction of stationary and moving targets , fire support units , patrols and guard important facilities. The complex has the ability to weapon guidance , support and engage targets in automatic and semi-automatic control modes , equipped with electro-optical and radar reconnaissance stations .
"Platform-M" was developed over four years, has been tested and the first production models have already arrived in the Russian armed forces.
