If u r secular, why do u ban cow slaughtering? Letting cows wandering around the street and sh*tting everywhere is more important? Having some shelters for old cows is more vital than opening shelters for the beggers?

I was kidding, ours is a deeply religious country and Cow is considered as holy in our religion that's why so many states have banned cow slaughter, but many states still allow it. I understand what you are trying to convey and fully support your point of view. However, the amount of political capital required to un-ban cow slaughter is simply to much and can be utilized elsewhere. For example, after tax reforms the next big bang reforms are to be done in labor and land acquisition that will require a lot of political capital

2017 is the deadline & so far we are meeting every target to stay on that deadline. Also, a lot of silent reforms are being done to increase the efficiency of the economy, closing down loss making Public sector companies for starters, and make the economy more competitive.

Simple, less developed states get more money to develop them selves and the relatively advanced states get less money. It's really the tax collection that is being reformed right now

No. We were a weak and poor country when we were a clear leader of the world's population. China didn't get strong and rich before we adopted a new development policy and one child system to curb the size of the population. India's population will soon overtake China's, but it doesn't mean you are going to be the strongest and richest nation. Mass unemployment should be something to seriously consider about. And young people will get old, soon you will have to handle the same issue yourself.
