Official says 419,736 civilians were evacuated from Ukraine

The Russian army on Friday updated its losses in Ukraine to 1,351 soldiers, while saying that it had evacuated more than 400,000 civilians and condemning Western supplies of weapons to Kyiv.

At a Moscow briefing, senior military officials gave the first update on Russian deaths in weeks and said 419,736 civilians were evacuated from Ukraine.

A senior representative of the General Staff, Sergei Rudskoi, said: "We consider a huge mistake the supplies of arms to Kyiv by Western countries. That prolongs the operation."

The statement came a day after US President Joe Biden Biden and allied leaders promised that more military aid for Ukraine is on the way.

Few days ago the Komsomolskaya Pravda (A pro Kremlin tabloid) has posted a news citing MoD figures that 9,861 Russian soldiers were killed and 16,153 wounded,but had since deleted it and claimed "they were hacked".

There are still tons of bodies Russian army didn't even bother to recover that Ukrainians had to bury them in mass graves.

To add that some soldiers killed on the start of the operation have just begun being buried (so 1 month after the war started!)

The Kremlin sold to the Russians "a special operation" that should have lasted at best two weeks,now imagine how such an outrage it would make if for a "special operation",they announce 10K soldiers killed as of now. It would be a disaster.

yeah, but a database for over 224 entries? I don't remember any database is this extensive, there may have been some but I just don't know.

Neither Ukrainian claim is true nor is Russian. The real number is some where between.

Taking figures from both Ukraine and Russia and claiming that the real figure is somewhere in between is like if back in 2003 you would take news from both Baghdad bob (Ukraine's equivalent) and the US and claiming that the truth is somewhere in between, any figures that come out of Ukraine should be dismissed immediately and should not be used in any calculations (unless if you believe in the ghost of Kiev).
Out of these two sources the official Russian sources are the only reliable sources available, so if you were to speculate on how accurate (or inaccurate) they are perhaps at most you could claim that some of those 4000 wounded have died outside Ukraine a while after their injuries and were thus not counted.

They claim they killed 14,000 and injured 16,000 Ukrainian soldiers,claimed to have destroyed 261 UAVs,204 anti aircrafts systems,1587 tanks and armored vehicles,163 MLRS,636 artillery units and 1397 other military vehicles. They also claimed to have downed 35 out of the 18 Bayrkatar Ukraine had.

Those who follow Russian defence briefings since the Syrian war (and even much before) know Russian figures are just BS they are throwing random figures left and right.

I don't say Ukrainians don't exaggerate their figures but saying Russian sources are the only reliable ones when Russians are know to throw random figures left and right,hide the death of their soldiers since soviet times is just hilarious.

I'm sorry to tell you this but stating official Russian figures and responding to them with laugh emojis and repeating "they are lying and they are well known liers" over and over again is not arguement. Also it is very telling that you felt the need to have multiple laugh emojis to hide your sadness, I believe deep down you know these figures of Ukrainian casualties are true so you have to hide your sadness.

You have to set aside emotions and look at the situation more objectively, the Russians control the battle space, that is they are the ones who can chose what, when and how to strike in every inch in Ukraine.
the Ukrainians on the other hand have been forced to isolate within their own cities and aside from very few occasions (eg: the targeting and destruction of a Russian ship in Berdyansk or however that place is called) the only thing they can do now are ambushes.

the Ukrainians are yelling at the west and calling them afraid and weak every day while simultaneously begging them for a no fly zone, does that sound like a winning team or a desperate team! Zelensky sounds like a person in those shark moves where a person is on the edge above a pool of sharks and then starts screaming at his friends "you fking cowards help me".
