Russia-Ukraine War - News and Developments PART 2

Footage of a multiple missile strike by Russian Tornado-S cluster munitions in the area of the 18th separate brigade of the Ukrainian National Guard. The video was filmed 5 km northwest of the village of Slavyansk, according to some sources, this is in the area of the village of Glubokaya Makatikha. The strike used a Russian, presumably 300 mm Tornado-S MLRS, equipped with a 9M55K rocket with a cluster warhead. The 9M55K missile has 72 9N235 warheads, each containing 360 and 96 sokoloks, weighing from 0.75 to 4.5 grams. Judging by the video, there was a lot of military equipment and the missile strike was truly large-scale, but it is impossible to assess its consequences. Officially, 28 units of military equipment of the Ukrainian National Guard were reported to have been damaged. Most of the equipment was trucks and cars.

With drones being used extensively in combat in Ukraine, it appears that the Russian army has an excess of drones in some areas of the front. Footage has been released of three Russian drones striking a Ukrainian M113A2 armored personnel carrier. The M113 armored personnel carriers were developed in the United States in 1957. Near the town of Dvurechnaya in the Kharkiv region of Ukraine, a Ukrainian M113A2 armored personnel carrier was attacked by a Lancet drone, a Vandal FPV drone, and a third drone dropped ammunition on the armored personnel carrier. Judging by the video, the combat vehicle had been abandoned earlier by the crew.

Episodes of combat work in Ukraine, the Russian tank T-72 with protection type "Tsar-mangal" have been published. In addition to protection, the tank is also equipped with electronic warfare systems. The T-72 is used by the 4th motorized rifle brigade of the Armed Forces of Russia. During the military operations in Ukraine, the tank is also used to deliver supplies and land troops. According to the crew of the T-72 tank, their version of the "Tsar-mangal" protection can withstand up to 20 attacks by Ukrainian FPV drones. Judging by the video, the tank's protection really copes with many attacks by Ukrainian drones.

Footage of the attack of the Russian FPV drone "Prince Vandal Novgorodsky" on a rare Ukrainian Bärgningsbandvagn 90 ARV. The Bgbv 90 repair and recovery vehicle was created on the basis of the CV-90 IFV in Sweden in the first half of the 90s. The Bgbv 90 ARV is valued by the troops, as it is capable of evacuating not only Leopard 2 tanks but also Abrams tanks. The Bgbv 90 ARV is equipped with a crane, a rotating winch, welding and other repair equipment. A 7.62 mm M / 39S machine gun is used for protection. The Bgbv 90 crew is four people. The video was filmed during an attempt to break through the Ukrainian Bgbv 90 ARV from the Sumy region of Ukraine to the Kursk region of Russia. External filming was not carried out.

For four years Trump worked to undermine Europe, and Trump wants to paint a new image of Trump as "savior of Europe". If Europe does not rearm/get energy security... and needs mob boss protection, then Europe is prey to Trump ambitions and schemes.
The post is from over 16 months ago, I knew the Trump playbook then.

During a recent meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's aspiration to join the European Unionand requested additional military support. The discussions, held on January 27, 2025, in Krakow, Poland, focused on enhancing security cooperation and exploring potential security guarantees for both Ukraine and Europe amidst ongoing Russian aggression.

Key Highlights from the Meeting

  1. EU Membership Aspirations:

  2. Request for Military Assistance:
    • The Ukrainian president called for increased military support from France, particularly in the form of weaponry and ammunition. This request aligns with Ukraine's ongoing needs as it continues to defend against Russian military actions.
  3. Gratitude for Support:
    • Zelensky expressed his appreciation for France's unwavering support throughout the conflict, describing it as crucial for achieving a "just and lasting peace" in Ukraine.
  4. Security Guarantees Discussion:
    • The leaders discussed possible formats for security guarantees that could be extended to Ukraine, which may include involvement from NATO or European peacekeeping forces in the future.
  5. Broader Context of Cooperation:
    • This meeting comes amid broader discussions within the EU regarding sanctions against Russia and military aid to Ukraine. The European Council recently approved an extension of sanctions and is working on new ammunition supply initiatives.
  6. Potential Deployment of Foreign Troops:
    • Zelensky mentioned the possibility of deploying Western troops in Ukraine as part of future peace negotiations, a topic that has been previously discussed with Macron and other European leaders.

An episode of a battle by Russian Special Operations Forces (SSO), presumably in one of the rear areas of Ukraine, has been published. The video shows the storming of a stronghold of the Ukrainian army. The Russian Special Operations Forces detachment used several subgroups. One "attack" subgroup made a passage in the barriers, snipers worked to protect the perimeter. The second "capture" subgroup carries out a direct assault on the stronghold. The third "support" subgroup cuts off possible routes of assistance from enemy reserves and ensures the withdrawal of the assault group to the assembly point after completing the task. As a result of the SSO operation, the stronghold was captured, an unknown Ukrainian unit was captured, the video has been shortened.

Lt. General Yevgeny Buzhinsky has stated that to resolve the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, discussions should be held exclusively with the United States, rather than with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky or European leaders. Buzhinsky's remarks reflect a perspective shared by many Russian politicians, emphasizing the belief that U.S. involvement is crucial for any meaningful negotiations.

Key Points from Buzhinsky's Statements

  1. U.S. as the Key Negotiator:
    • Buzhinsky asserted, "To settle this conflict, we need to talk with the United States," highlighting a widely accepted view in Russian political circles that the U.S. holds significant influence over the resolution of the Ukraine war.
  2. Skepticism Towards Zelensky:
    • He expressed skepticism about Zelensky's ability to offer viable solutions for the Russian Federation, questioning what proposals he could bring to the table that would be acceptable to Russia.
  3. Current Context of Negotiations:
    • The backdrop of these statements includes ongoing military operations and a lack of progress in peace negotiations, with both sides entrenched in their positions. Buzhinsky's comments come amid a broader narrative from Russian officials suggesting that any peace talks must involve direct engagement with Washington.
  4. Russian Perspective on Peace Talks:
    • The Kremlin has previously indicated that it views the U.S. as a primary actor in European security matters, often sidelining Ukrainian interests in discussions about the future of the conflict.
  5. Implications for U.S.-Russia Relations:
    • Buzhinsky’s remarks underscore the complexities of U.S.-Russia relations and suggest that any potential resolution to the Ukraine conflict may require a shift in how negotiations are approached, focusing more on bilateral talks between Moscow and Washington.

Conclusion

Buzhinsky's assertion that only the U.S. can help end the Ukraine war reflects a significant aspect of Russian diplomatic strategy, emphasizing the need for direct engagement with American leadership. As discussions around peace continue to evolve, the dynamics between Ukraine, Russia, and the United States will play a critical role in shaping the future of the conflict and regional stability.

Trump is into loyalty, if you serve Trump, mob boss Trump would say you have protection.

Zelensky had to prove loyalty to Trump in providing dirt on Trump rival Biden. Trump wanted Zelensky to betray the neo-liberal side for Trump protection from Russia. Trump knew the DC Beltway was fully supporting Biden in the Democratic Primary and Trump wanted to destroy that campaign.

Trump offers first the carrot then the stick. Are you a Trump loyalist, if Zelensky kissed the hand of the mob boss Trump, then Ukraine would have been safer. Expect more of the same mob boss Trump policy. When you declare independence from these mob bosses Putin and Trump, then expect the stick. I expect Trump to be conciliatory to Europe. Trump is going to first want to destroy political enemies domestically. If Europe kisses the hand of the mob boss Trump, then Trump offers protection if you pay in loyalty and service to the Trump crime family.

I hope Europe never forgets:
