Bright minds here you forgot who develop the helmet of f 35 dont forget silicon valley is 70% forigen not american from china india from all over the world
there are group of refael engeenirs send from israel work for usa defence industry
you forget thay russia has big economic problems and usa have they biggest economy in the world so maybe in the f 35 they dont need but in arrow and david sling they absorb some of israel abilities otherwise they could offer us thaad or patriot and not invest and develop with us because money we dont have like uae
usa offer us to take part of f 35 development and we refused for some reasons

It's a fighter jet not light fighter, light fighters are like the f-5 which is for training and combat but uae is building a complete 5 gen fighter!!!

They need some "cool-off" period. Some folks in the UAE got overly excited with their newfound aspirations!!! They need some time to get settled and matured. It's all parts of the learning curve.
