Problem with the C-2 is it can only land on an aircraft carrier and then helicopters have to fly out to all the fleet ships to deliver stuff. Plus you tie up the deck with it. It however has longer range, faster speed, higher altitude, and more capacity.

The Osprey can deliver directly to ships. So you can send a bunch out at the same time. No clearing of the deck. No Bolter (aeronautics) - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia issues.
