Russia to deliver MI 35 helicopter to Pakistan

Good move by Pakistan, MI 35s are impressive machines and will do very well against terrriost TTP, I still remmeber those flown by Afghan airforce in Kabul against the rebels in the 1980s and they did bring fear to the opponents. Good luck to Pakistan and lets get ride of the Taliban garbage from both sides of the border

Russia to deliver MI 35 helicopter to Pakistan

How much does the PAA is giving Russia? and for how many helicopters?

Mi35s might be good but its better to locally assemble them along with Z10Ps.

.
Old helicopter...Pak has gotta be looking at doing some particular unconventional/anti-insurgency duties with
this chopper otherwise it's a scrap sale.

.
Deal is for 20 helicopters to be delivered in one year. It will take off load on cobras which are not designed for anti terror operations. Cobras are totally meant for anti-armour operations as Tanks, Apc's and other heavy and light Armour. Mi-35's are designed for mostly anti infantry operations carrying troops along with it. Its mostly armed with rocket pods heavy machine guns and one drop bomb like Nepalm bomb specially. See Rambo 3 for its attack capability. Mi-35have newer versions in Russia now its to be selected which model PA has chosen. Newer version is attached with Night vision and glass cockpit having 2 LCD displays for navigation andground attack views

ANF is too corrupt and incompetent to operate anything
helis are alaways operated by army aviation
Here did you get this from, you just every n then disseminate things from your mouth or you have proof for that. ANF is one of the most organised crime branch in Pakistan, do you have any idea how difficult their job is, drugs smugglers are no less than terrorists when it comes to brutalities.

I know how difficult it was dealing with them as used to work for a courier company and every now n then there were parcels with the brown sugar in them.

For those who think Pakistan is purchasing old model then kindly read about Mi-35M (link below) which even India don't have, it can take on any armor and very versatile helicopter.
