Russias high priority on developing coal, alternate energy

KARACHI: Russian government has placed high priority on developing trade links with Sindh province, especially in the fields of Coal and Alternate Energy Sector.
Russian Consul General Andrey V Demidov, who called on Chairman Sindh Board of Investment Muhammad Zubair Motiwala on Friday said Russian cooperation on the technical assistance was evident as the government supplied equipment to Pakistan Steel Mill and equipment for Jamshoro power station. During the meeting, they exchanged views to enhance mutual cooperation and dialogue on issues regarding investment in Sindh and to promote various investment projects and proposals in the energy and other sectors.
Motiwala proposed to organise conference and seminar and single country exhibition for Pakistani business community. He said Russian governments participation was also welcomed in supply of alternate energy equipments, which was known worldwide. staff report
