Honestly, i have no idea about that. It is just a surveillance radar and that too a small one meant for civilian use. The best we can get out of it is to have it stationed near the NPP in the densely populated city of Karachi and it will help us make sure that there is no unauthorized air traffic coming towards the plant. Signal the nearest military base if there is any such movement.
Frankly, i personally think that the news is given more hype than it really deserved. It is no component of ABM shield as some will want to claim
This is not a civilian RADAR. Civilian are not used at this range and civilian Radars don't detect objects at such micro level. This is not a component of ABM as well. This RADAR is for CM and drones. RADAR don't defend nuclear facilities they detect threats. Missiles defend.
If Pakistan was looking for ballistic missiles then they should have bought VITIM RADAR produced by RTI. It is a civilian RADAR to defend against ballistic missiles.
