Russia has threatened to take “counter steps” and lodge a diplomatic protest over the Indian government move to ban big currency notes, which they say has hit their embassy’s operations in Delhi, Russian government sources have told an Indian TV channel.

They can and more so over Russian government should have issued travel advisories to its officials. Most of the places such a high level officer will cost accept debit or credit cards unless you want to visit some w....re and pay her by cash.

who would be jealous of a flawed idea.? anyway there is a similar thread where Pakistani embassy expressed similar concern as is being expressed by Russian . but indians were telling us that pak diplomats should stand in lines or why Pakistan's embassy need cash. and that we are jealous of indian currency ban. some Indians even said that only Pakistani embassy is complaining . lolzz now Russian embassy is airing same concern.
