It is not India's job to introduce anything to any of their neighbouring countries. Period. Absolutely no one has given India any mandate to interfere in their internal matters. Would it be acceptable to you if Bangladesh and Pakistan jointly tried to install a Islamic Shariah government in India?

No one's talking about hostility here. We are talking about interference in our internal matters because of India's hegemonic ambition. If you think you know people of Bangladesh so well, just book a flight and go and ask their opinion of India's politics in the streets. While you are at it, ask the people of Nepal and Sri Lanka too what they think of your geopolitical ambitions.

If we were to talk about hostility - I could go in length on that too. From funding and training the Chittagong Hill Tracts separatists to indiscriminate border killings, India has shown a lot of hostility for a so called "friendly" neighbor.

No one has anything against peace loving average citizens of India. We get along absolutely fine on a personal level. So if you do make the trip, you will be welcomed to Bangladesh. But if you try to interfere and inject your "dadagiri" in our internal affairs, you will find your welcome wearing out real soon.

India's interest is to have a friendly government in Bangladesh who should be able to work together to grow together.. if its Haseena Govt, we will put all its efforts to keep her in power, if its some Jamat, we will also support them.. Get the point clear, India will act on its own interest and we have little appetite to know what average Bangladeshi on the street thinks about us ..

By the way, why would someone want to create animosity with its largest neighbour, who surrounds you from 4 sides (given lack bangladeshi Naval power) and move into a secuity state like Pakistan ??

we will act to serve our interest.. if the Haseena Govt serves our interest we will support her, if not someone else better.. As a neighbour, I don't think that India would bother a lot about what the average Bangladeshi on the street thinks about our interference..
