Dude seriously. You are new here, go easy on the Jingoism. Use this forum to understand the other side's POV, not reinforce your own and try to ram it down others throats. Not that I'm a saint, I just got back from a ban:D

Security Council aspirations - sure they are great but not a snow flakes chance in hell as far as India are concerned - note this quote from the lead article:

Reaffirming the need for a comprehensive reform of the United Nations to make it "more effective and efficient", Russia and China today said they understand and support the aspirations of India and Brazil to play a greater role in the world body.

The BRIC countries -- Brazil, Russia, India and China -- also expressed their strong commitment to multilateral diplomacy with the United Nations playing the central role in dealing with global challenges and threats

While recognizing the aspirations of these rising powers, it is a commitment to Multi-lateral diplomacy that is being highlight - a message to those still stuck in unipolar world views.

But Why not India for the UNSC? territorial conflict with a nuclear armed neighbor - does the world and do Russia and China as responibile members really want oexacerbate that problem? get real - but why not Brazil, Why not Germany? Why not Japan, A little bit of sobriety will go along way.

Brazil, Germany or Japan is a better choice than India.

the fun game is played as such:

1. when Russia China say yes, the US will say no for sure.

2. when the US says yes, Russia or China will say "err..Houston, we might have a problem here..."

3. knowing that someone, somewhere would say no, France and the UK can say whatever they like which mostly is "yes"...until when both the US and China say yes, France would be "invited" by Uncle Sam to say NO.

...

Another reason that Japan is not preferred inside the current UNSC structure is that it's obviously inappropriate that 2 East Asain nations are in it at the same time whereas there's no single representative in S America or Africa for example.

Even Brazil is a much more proper candidate than India, since Brazil at least is dominant in its own S America continent, besides its robust trade tie on important natural resources, food & industrial goods with emerging China.

India has next to none influence on anywhere in the world in either ecomonics or politics or military:

In S America? Africa? E Europe? W Europe? E Asia? N America? Australia? ME? Central Asia? SE Asia?

Or in even India's own neibourhood S Asia?

Or the South Pole? ... Moon... ?

Zero, Niks , Nichts, Nada, Zilch !

Sorry, but why UNSC even bothers to get India on board even for propaganda purpose?

Tell me what kind of Influence does Brazil have anywhere in the world in either ecomonics or politics or military ??

no one can interpret any thing here , We are highly sure about russia , UK and France about our support but about china and USA we cannot say Especially about China till the end movement. All prediction can fall in one day game of voting UNSC.If it is gonna happen in near future , It is gonna be tough time for India.

India To Be Central Part Of Any UNSC Reform: U.S.

The United States says India will be "central part" to any consideration of reform and expansion of the U.N. Security Council, in what is believed to be a clear indication that Washington is inching closer toward endorsing New Delhi's bid for a permanent seat at the most powerful wing of the world organization.

"Given India's rise and its significance, we believe that India will be a central part of any consideration of a reformed Security Council," Under Secretary of State for Political Affairs Bill Burns told reporters at a special White House news conference on India.

He said the United States recognized the significance of looking at ways to adapt international architecture, including the U.N. Security Council, to reflect the realities of the twenty-first century.

"We want to approach that challenge in a way that ensures the effectiveness--and, hopefully, strengthens the effectiveness--of the Security Council," he said.

"That's about as far as I'm going today," Burns said when pressed for more details.

At the same briefing, Ben Rhodes, Deputy National Security Adviser for Strategic Communication, said that through its focus on the G20 and some other bodies, the U.S. was seeking to give India a greater voice in global architecture as the G8 could not deal with global economic issues as effectively as the G20.

This would be reflected in the months and years ahead as New Delhi took a seat in the Security Council, he added, apparently referring to India's election as a non-permanent member of the U.N. Security Council this month.

Sooner or later US will have to agree with India and allow a Permanent UNSC seat for us.

And I get a feeling its gonna be before 2020.

So . We're gonna get it. They can't ignore the second fastest growing economy and the biggest democracy on earth for long.
They "might" give it to India, if they are convinced that India will continue to serve western imperialism.
