Russia, China oppose Geneva resolution on Syria

Russia and China did not endorse the UN Human Rights Council’s resolution on Syria.

Initiated by Turkey and a number of Arab countries, the resolution was passed at the Human Rights Council’s meeting in Geneva on Thursday.

It condemns what it says are systematic violations of the basic human rights and freedoms by the Syrian government.

Russia and China criticized the document over a lack of objectivity and failure to propose constructive plans for a political and diplomatic settlement in Syria.

If the resolution admitted there are terrorists in Syria, Russia and China will do whats fair. The Arab League monitors admitted there are terrorsits and the Syrian army is defensive.

Russia and China is right. UN Human Right lack objectivity as they only call act committed by the West enemy "human right violation". For once, I want to read a story how the "rebel" kill soldiers and civillian and fueling more violence and I would like people to interview the soldier family. American media is one sided and always fall within the "Western narrative". Even NPR, supposedly objective, never tell me who these "Free Syrian" rebels are. I want to know who these people are. I want to hear both side of the story to make an informed decision. But all I hear is one side of the story forced fed to me.

If UN Human Right organization have any credibility, it would denounce US warmongering and interventionism that fuel a prolong violences, cause division. It would promote China's stance on stability and dialogue. Because stability in itself is better than civil wars. Even if it takes 1 generation to change, it would be better than a war. Less death and destructions. I want to know who gives these rebel weapons.

Of course we all know Russia provides Syria with weapons, but how about the rebels. No one tells me that side of the story.

I am for one glad China and Russia oppose these so called biased organization, even if they did it in selfishness.
