They didn't claim S-500, something that China could be possibly interested about.

We already managed to play the midcourse interception with 5500km range and 350km of altitude.

Do you think it is plausible for us to steal some primitive toys like S-300? No matter how good its variants are.

HQ-19 is not equivalent to S-300. It is very much inferior to that, Kindly don't compare Apple with Orange.

This is Chinese version. I don't post anything without knowing the facts. Since Chinese were hunting for repair documentation means they have broken systems and don't have any way to fix it without Russian teams. This news is all about this.

S-300 is still best LR SAM equivalent to Arrow-1, Patriot. There is no 4th such tech equivalent to these 3.

Chinese are still Busy in S-300 equivalent which is HQ-19, and we are making AD-1,2 (equivalent to Israel Arrow-3, US THAAD, Russian ABM-3/4 Gazelle/Gorgon)

Painting is easy, but making something like S-300 is different. Hope you understand the difference.

Anyway, Chinese Technology (Specially in ABM/SAM) is still 20 years behind Russia. You just bought S-300 which we are using for many years and Russia made some 15-20 years back. We are close to deploy better than S-500. You are still Buying/trying to copy many Technology. Lack of Innovation and confidence. General Guo boxiong is currently in Moscow for fresh buying. 10 years, 100's Billion $ expenditure on R&D, Still thinking to make something like S-300 ? It's big failure by your R&D Team and may be huge corruption too.

So HQ-19 is most likely the cousin of S-400, not the son.

Just like the way how WS-10 is related to F-110.
