Russia and Saudi Arabia may agree on all matters related to the supply of S-400 air defense systems before the end of the year, Assistant Russian President for Military-Technical Cooperation Vladimir Kugin said.

"A package of agreements with Saudi Arabia, including the S-400, have been signed and the production of Kalashnikov rifles is being considered on the Kingdom's territory. As for the most advanced systems, technical and financial issues are now being discussed. We hope to receive answers to all remaining questions before the end of the year." he told reporters.

Russian Prime Minister Sergei Chimezov said on December 7 that talks with Saudi Arabia on the S-400 systems were under way, but no contracts were signed definitly.

Russia and Saudi Arabia have reached agreement on the supply of S-400 systems, anti-tank missile systems and other weapons.
