Secularism and democracy are apparently hard to get for many Pakistanis. You lot tend to think it means a 'free for all' 'no restriction' State.

It means the State will not favour any religion. Secularism is not a free pass to say or do anything. It does mean you avoid or are outlawed doing what is grossly offensive to another religion. For example India prohibits anyone insulting Mohammad. Though as per your understanding because of Secularism, non-Muslims should be allowed to do that.

Cow is one of the base of Indian civilization, cow provided milk and cow dung provided fuel in earlier agricultural civilization. Thats why she is respected as mother as building block of indian civilization.

Cow is regarded as a very important cattle during early Indian civilization and thus to protect the cattle and its number cow slaughtering and beef consumption was never practiced, cow came to be seen as holy animal. When foreign conquerors came to India, only then the practice of cow slaughtering and eating beef was introduced in India.

Okay. Maybe our understanding of sacred differs. In India a sacred thing is valued and seen that no harm befalls on it. Perhaps in Romania sacred things are killed and consumed.

India is full of fruits and vegetables and also a top producer of food in the world, so people wont die if they did not eat the cow.
