Match made in heaven. So sad man. Even if PIA is trying hard to become a good profitable organization. It's own compatriots are treating it like trash.

People traveling to the UK on PIA are mostly British Pakistanis.

plenty in pakistan too, mess on the streets with beggar kids rummaging thru them.
This why i say we need to adopt japanese school training, were kids at young age are trained to clean, take off shoes, serve food etc all themselves and as they grow they become good civilized helpful citizens.

Filthy Animals. I have travelled in Pak to UK flights and can tell you that 90% of them are British born Pakistanis overseas paindoos. I remember one time i was on Manchester flight and Lady sitting in back seat put her foot on my bloody arm rest. They guy sitting on front had his seat moved back durring entire flight. If that wasnt enough some moda fuka kept farting durring entire flight after eating spicy food that PIA gives to passengers. It was the most disgusting experience ever. I literally had to ask flight attendant to throw some air freshener. I had to hold my pee for 3 hours after looking at condition of toilets. After that i never took PIA flight to UK always Emirates or Qatar Airways.

Lets not get overly sensitive about this. You've seen the state of Pakistani streets, heck even the beautiful mountains of the North or the sea in the south is not free of Pakistani trash.

I have to add, some parts of British society are filthy too. You should see the state of cinemas, or stadiums after matches/concerts. The streets where there are many clubs and bars are cleaned by an army of cleaners every weekend evening. Realistically there is no excuse. Like I always said - when the container had food in it, the person looked after it with care, why dump it when it's empty? Look after it in the same way.

Excessive food is not ideal during flying it is best to keep food offering simple

• Plain Rice
• Omelet
• Orange Juice
• Soda Pop
• Water

Planes are not your private home


The secondary problem is , Air Host/Hostess do not often run a collection of small throwable items
Could be a training issue to make sure people collect the small garbage items regularly to prevent garbage piling up in seats

It's an 8 hour flight, 2 meals were served, a lot of the rubbish on the floor looks like containers the in flight meal was served in.

Did staff not come round after each meal to collect leftovers, packaging and trays? Also could it be that the toilet was not flushing?

Although a lot of Pakistani people are utter pigs. I mean these people literally sat in thier own filth.

Two possible explanations:

Some passengers bring their own food and snacks, and the packaging may be from that.

Sometimes passengers take their time finishing their meal/drink. Even if the staff come to collect the rubbish multiple times, the passengers choose to hold on to their food/drink, then throw the packaging on the floor when done.

RAWALPINDI: A chartered flight of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) from Manchester to Islamabad was delayed for four hours due to deep cleaning as the entire fuselage was littered with rubbish.

A PIA official said it was not for the first time as often the departure of flights was delayed due to the deep cleaning of the planes that has to be done before take-off.

He said that whenever a plane was littered with rubbish, especially if toilets were choked, it was handed over to engineers who thoroughly check all pipes and then give clearance.

The latest episode came to light when pictures of PK-9785 flight went viral on social media. The new plane, which was obtained by the PIA on lease from Jordanian aviation, was littered with rubbish when it landed at Manchester airport on Wednesday.

It took four hours of deep cleaning as plastic cups, water bottles, tissue papers, ripped chocolate wrappers, biscuits, and food waste were strewn on the floor after the passengers disembarked the plane. Pictures also showed toilet tissue papers strewn in the lavatory.

Seats were looking dirty with food waste and what not which was left behind by the passengers who travelled from Islamabad to Manchester. Again the plane was littered with rubbish on return to Islamabad.

“Passengers usually remain careful and behave well when they are onboard the flights operated by foreign airlines, but unfortunately, they don’t do so while onboard a PIA flight,” a spokesman for the national airline said.

He said that often there were delays in the departure of flights due to deep cleaning of the plane which caused financial loss to the airline as well as inconvenience to the passengers.

A PIA captain, who wished not to be named, said that once a PIA flight was delayed for eight hours due to the dirty condition of the plane and choked toilets. The plane was finally handed over to engineers and other relevant staff to get its drain pipes clean. He said that an alternative plane was arranged for the passengers, while the engineers opened the joints of the pipes of that plane to clean them.

A ground staffer of the airline said that such dirty conditions in the UK-Islamabad flight was not unusual; it often happened. “As they boarded the UK flight, many passengers rushed to the kitchen carrying baby feeders for milk. Some scratch warning signs, damage seats, headphones and some pull seat belts.”

well i would but pakistan side will sell me off like musharafs time for few dollars to be sent off to guantamino. if it was up to my community we would have freed kashmir by now not make execuses and then sit down with the enemies at the table and drink whiskey. great idea but lets add to it passengers are entitled to video staff if they feel threatened or forced to give bribes or other illeal activity and can add the staff details to app and record it and file it, staff should be fired immediately and put on newspaper.
