The signing of the cooperation between RUAG Defence and ASELSAN enables the two companies to offer their customers further tailor made mid-life upgrade solutions for armoured tracked vehicles. RUAG Defence and ASELSAN are almost perfectly complementary to each other: RUAG Defence as the expert for upgrading tracked and wheeled vehicles and ASELSAN as manufacturer of state-of-the-art optronics and fire control systems.
RUAG Defence is the official maintenance, repair and overhaul partner for all tracked armoured vehicles of the Swiss Army. Furthermore RUAG Defence combines more than 50 years of experience in upgrading and life cycle management of main battle tanks. Many countries rely on RUAG’s Life Cycle Support skills. RUAG’s vision, to deliver tailored upgrade solutions for armoured tracked vehicles in order to achieve superior performance for a global customer base is realized with the support of reliable and innovative partners.
ASELSAN on one hand, is the leading company in Turkey for development and production of electronics and electro-optical systems including state-of-the-art next generation Fire Control System for main battle tanks (MBT) and MBT upgrades.
