RT: 14yo Russian model dies in China, sparks anger over possible 'slave contract'

Foul play has been put aside Because the girl said that she had no enemies and didn't use drugs... it was based only on that...
When I meant not sure..; ofc it's not about the diagnosis... but what resulted in her death, that it's not sure... and therefore an autopsy could have been used to confirm the "why"...
As for ,if the state should take charge of a national dead body in a foreign country..when the family couldn't do so... yes they had to... Ask you consulate outside China and you'll see ( I least for us it is...)

Try to read what happen in moddeling world... thing worst than that happen for nothing..; like this girl who got poisoned by her roomates to stop her for going a casting... and died... or the other one poisned with rat poison because, her rival " supposed" she will be taken instead of her... poisoning is widely used...even thou' death is rare... mostly minor things...
I spoke back in the days with models...and what you hear is quite... scary... when you take into account their young age ( 15-19) and what they are willing to do... to themselfs and to others...

Ofc It could be rivals, like it could be the agency... like the one where the agency gave her "candies" everyday... but in facts it was MDMA is small quantities... they used it on her... to make her more appealing to males juries...
And I can go on with those stories...

The modeling biz is extremely competitive and hard... and when you get young girls in that world... who can't understand what is responsability and what is wrong or right... you have btw your hands... kids playing with fire, ofc not all of them, but it's quite present and some pay the price...

In the End, this girl, could have died "normally"... and nothing was involved... but how the case was handled by every sides ( agency/mother/consulate etc...), you can smetimes ask questions... and ffs she was 14years old... with no medical problems...

Anyway.
I would have think, or rather would like to believe that modern medical technology would be able to detect at least the possibility of someone being poison without autopsy. Anyway she died from a disease, not poison. I would like to think that it would have take very skillful professional to be able to fool the doctors, and she is not someone important. Therefore possibility of foul play would be extremely small.

we can nearly find anything in the body but only if we look for it.
by the way if she died of meningitis i hope they take necessary measure to prevent it in the people who were in contact with her.

and a very serious question , its understandable for me if a 14 year old child help in family business but honestly go to another country for modelling ? I wonder how many law has been broken to employ her. was it worth 8$ per day .

The $8 dollar was denied by the her agency. If you read only the english media, you probably would only get one side of the story. The side that seem to be full of hearsay and sensational accusation. Did they not bothered to fact check?

According to Chinese media, she is employed under cultural artistic industry, which has certain exemption. Also said that it is inline with common practice in that particular(fashion) industry in many other countries in the world. From the article above, she is recommended by Russian fashion model agency, which I presumed would be legal under Russian law.

Well, as is common practice in journalism, you get the story straight from the horse's mouth, that is, from people that has a name or organization and is a relevant party and is accountable.

I would say such information would be more credible than information quoted with no name, wouldn't you agree?

And what about China ? do they also have laws that let Children of foreign nationality employed there even if its for just posing .

by the way don't forget the nature of the job made it easier for the girl to be exploited .and also while meningitis is lethal when it lead to multiple organ failure means they failed to seek medical help at the early stages.

And has already been explained, it is common practice in the fashion industry. For eg.

If you read the news from China, you would have known that after she complaint, she was given off from work and admitted to hospital. Her condition deteriorate and admitted to ICU a day later.

In Yiwu last Tuesday, the girl told her agent she wasn’t feeling well and the next day she returned to Shanghai because she was not feeling any better.

She was taken to hospital on Wednesday evening and admitted to the ICU the following afternoon when her condition deteriorated.

Dzyuba, who would have been 15 on November 18, died around 7.30am on Friday.

Well...even from the horse's mouth ... it's only "his" truth... a truth that will keep him in Biz... . We know each others that only a full investigation will give us an objectiv truth...

Yes, it will only be one sided.

But he has a name and work and speak for the largest model agency for foreign fashion model in China. There will be serious consequence if he is found lying both for him and the agency he work for.

An important way to get to the truth is to listen to both side. Preferably credible sources of both side.

That is the main reason I posted in this particular thread, to present the other side.

So that reader could use their logical and analytical faculty to decide what is credible and determine what is the likely truth for themselves.
