Problem is that that the Mosque was built on top of a Mandir and is disputed grounds the highest court in the land has awarded 2/3 of it to Hindu organisations and 1/3 to Islamic group.

Sorry the ASI already submitted records and proof that there was a temple existing beneath The mosque and it Ayodhya the birth place of Lord Ram and we are not willing to compromise on it at any cost.That place is somewhat like what mecca is for muslims.
Besides why do you care?a Temple is a temple whether abandoned or not as we believe living deity resides there still while mosques are regularly demolished in Saudi to make road for development.
According to islam,Mosque is only a place to help in worship it does not enjoy gods writ and therefore can be demolished and built at any place just like a commercial building is built.

Whether there was a temple there or not is completely irrelevant. As a BJP supporter, I'm appalled by the BJP's (and the Sangh's) attempt to rewrite history. If Babur had a temple demolished to build a mosque there, so be it. To try and reverse that in the 21st century is misguided and opportunistic. Unfortunately, this revisionist view of history prevails amongst some in the BJP, most notably Subramanian Swamy.
