All the mythological serials now being made are not half as successful as Ramanad Sagar's "Ramayan" or B.R Chopra's, "Mahabharta" despite being high on technology n sets and lesser connect emotionally with peoples. Those roads and markets were deserted when those serials were aired. May be now a days they are being made to exploit them commercially and not to spread the awareness n teaching

hope it'd turn out good..the old mahabharat was too good.some might don't know,but old mahabharat was one of the most famous serial in the world..when it was telecasted,approx 30 crore people watched it all over world.. don't know if any serial exceeded it after that..It was shown in the United Kingdom by the BBC, where it achieved audience figures of 5 million.

solid acting was behind this success..hope this new Mahabharat turns out something like this..

Bheesma, shakuni and dritharashtra are epic.Like satyavati too.Didn't like the look of arjun or karna though from promos.
Also kunti saga is stalling.
