That's not the point. I'm just commenting on how great it would be if Bhutan with these wonderful people shown in the pictures become part of the great country of China.

No, no problem at all. Just posting my thoughts that come to mind when I see those pictures. ^^

you guys look like mongols to us...no big difference....why does't china become a part of mangolia....after all china was under mongols at a point of time,...if you feel other wise no need to reply coz Bhutan is a separate nation and has a beautiful and uncurropt side to it unlike any other nation (china , India etc) it would be a happy nation satisfied with what it has when left alone....let other nations not try to occupy and spoil the happiness that is atleast present there.....it is a nation that measures peoples gross happiness and this is more important to its rulers than the GDP.... which other country has this type of measurement? let the always happy people be happy ......

They look almost Chinese. Their culture looks almost Chinese. It would be great if they become part of mainland China. A nice addition to the Chinese family of ethnic groups. The gorgeous Bhutanese should become part of this big rising dragon superpower.

Come join us...lol ^^

That's probably why Nepal and Bhutan got so close to India after China occupying Tibet. :D

You're saying all the oriental people should merge with China? looooooool! Plus they are Tibeto-Burman people with 30% Hindu Aryans from India/Nepal.

huan's comments are only worth the attention you give. I suggest you stop replying.

Dude I know what is Shangrila but if ever there is a real Shangrila it would be very much like or an improved version of Bhutan where the air is pristine, environment is unspoiled and the rulers are more concerned about the Gross National Happiness than Gross Domestic Product. In a way I envy you Bhutanese.

. . . .
You are a Southie no? That statement applies more to Northies than us. :P

After a certain amount of world experience, most of us belong to a globalized culture.

You 'Southies' adjust most easily to all the cultures you come in contact with otherwise you wouldn't have survived in foreign lands in the numbers you already do.

True, true but still nothing wrong with saying South Indian culture is quite different to North Indian culture and by proxy very different to Pakistani culture. Now, if you want to talk about South Asian culture in general, that's a different story. We all have some habits that we share.

That's amazing man, when my blood hits 38°C I fall sick!

I knew some smarta** will make this comment:tup:. Digging into my limited English vocabulary I was thinking of using 'enraged' or 'irritated' but I think 'blood boils' clearly conveys my anger towards all this 'shared culture' mumbo jumbo.

.
If we share the same culture, why we went for the partition in the first place.

The partition was about Religion mate, not Culture. If we are to divide ourselves based on slight differences in Culture... well then say goodbye to India as we know it.

PS: Let's not go off-topic.
