well we had them and we weathered them , our leader and civilians were assassinated on daily bases and we weathered that. And no Yemen insurgency started much sooner than Iran entered there . blame it on the countries who wanted to annex Yemen like KSA and Egypt. blame it on dictators like Saleh who were president for life or traitors like hadi who m=wanted to be president for life and when people said no went asked foreign countries to bomb the hell out of Yemen people and to pay for the service went out and gave Yemen land to invaders

no reason particular after overthrown of the dictator saleh, they put his deputy and told him you will go to office and put together an interim government and in that two year you have one and only one job to do . you are supposed to hold an election and in that election a president will be elected to be the head of government
but he liked to be a president for life and knew nobody will vote for him so he postponed the election twice after one year that he postponed the election people of Yemen raised again and throw him out of office., he resigned and Yemen parliament accepted his resignation then escaped to KSA and there asked KSA and UAE to put him in power and they saw h is a prefect tool to control Yemen (exactly a typical 20th century colonialism) and attacked them directly and also paid mercenary from all over the world to come and made the nonsense that is happening there

those in Yemen are from Yemen those in Syria are from 90 different country , isn't that enough reason for you.
