Twas ever thus.
We've never been a nation of aalims, just simple village folk.
People have become more religiously aware and polarised since the religious politics of colonial India took hold and since Pakistan was created, for obvious reasons.
We've always been a pretty illiterate and conservative society in many ways.
Only in some people's imaginations have we been some pious godly tribe that now seems to have lost it's way.

this nation is going to hell

locust swarms and bats the size of dogs eating mango orchards in Multan is just the trailer of divine retribution

can anyone imagine what will happen when food shortages hit next year ? maybe all these crook hospitals can EAT their cash !

better move to a small village when SHTF and grow your own produce.. our cities are SIN cities now
You seem to be in a panic.
It's not just us that are suffering, it's a worldwide phenomenon.
It's a bad time, agreed, but it's not Armageddon.
Keep faith, this time will also pass.

Sad but True . We are corrupt to the core .

Yes, we have some really bad elements (even a small % in a huge population, in absolute terms, is a very large number) --- as are many in other nations as well. This news should be balanced by the majority of donors who are donating their plasma for free (as they should.)

Sad.

I think there's a need to criminalize this and collect blood at the hospitals and clinics or have a database for it because it's the closest thing we have to a cure.

But your genius policymakers in Islamabad ignored the potential of this treatment for months --- only 1-2 weeks ago was the Dr. from KHI finally invited to NCOC to talk to the Gen/s to organize a proper system. You can't take the plasma at the hospital because you ideally need to wait two weeks after a full recovery, then get a specific antibody test to ensure eligibility and then finally donate. A database is a great idea and affidavits should be signed and enforced by all under 45 recovered patients so that their plasma can be collected by the State.

Plasma treatment is not a proven treatment or cures COVID so why exactly are these people running after another hydoxychloroquin

Ah, we've got another "science knows everything" guy. Firstly, I suggest you look at all the times that "proven" treatments and trials have been exposed to be bullshit. There are huge corporate interests in medical science, just like there are elsewhere, so take all results with a pinch of salt.

Secondly, most doctors are using anecdotal and experiential evidence from a.) their own past experiences treating other viral diseases this way and b.) what they have seen may work in COVID wards/ICUs.

Moving onto plasma therapy --- it is quite safe, has an almost 100-year track record and has been used successfully against SARS, which is also caused by the coronavirus family of bugs.

Finally, in the absence of any true cures/treatments backed by extensive large-scale double blind placebo studies (even the Remdesivir studies had lackluster results, though it did seem to reduce the no. of days in hospital for moderately ill patients), doctors have to try whatever they safely can. I hope this answers your question.

Peace.

From ship keepers to lawyers and doctors, everyone is corrupt that's why I want removal of constitution asap. Even our educated people are corrupt.these people will understand only if there is a cost.

Thank God that we are facing Covid19 or else we are able of far more worse azabs

Buying peoples blood is stupidity.

1. There is no evidence it cures anything.
2. What proof do you have this person even has anti bodies.
3. What evidence do you have this person does not have any other blood based diseases?

as nasr said, when people dont have anything to eat and drink, they will resort to such things. the blame lies on the govt, not the people. Even Caliph Umar RA suspended the hadd for theft because of famine. people do desperate things because of their situation. one can pay milions to aga khan, but cannot pay 100k for plasma?

Nobody is asking for food in the whatsapp screenshots. They are asking for lakhs of rupees.

I never claimed we all were ulema back in history, you dont have to be an aalim for leading your fathers janaza infact its prefered that SON lead janaza prayer of his father even if he is not an aalim. If being an aalim is like 1000 steps, then knowing how to lead janaza prayer is 5 steps. Its that simple, Its not a rocket science. So, for a society that always criticise molvi (for obvious reasons) should know how to avoid them (by fullfilling the duties of molvies by their own).

In that case, please get rid of them tomorrow.
I'm sure we'll manage very well without them.

You must be one of those L-1 intra-company transfer Gultis. They're slightly less refined compared to the H-1B Gultis. :cheesy: Doesn't mean they are any less corrupt though. H-1 yenna rascallas are just better at pleasing White Americans with their fake Tirupati smiles.

All gultis, with some exceptions, are PROS at corruption. No-one in India can outdo them when it comes to visa fraud and documents forgery. I'm kinda impressed by their white collar larcenies.

I do like Hyderabad in India. But thankfully that city was designed by the noble Nizams, and later by the Britishers. Had it been another Gulti town, there would be none of that beautiful heritage, high culture, and superb cuisine Hyderabad is known for.
@xeuss
Good that you like it in hyd, you can directly get a visa free entry and join a place called Nehru park as it's running out of exotic species

Definitely there you fit

Their plasma their choice. No one is forcing people to buy plasma. Majority healthy individuals will recover on their own. If your are unfit, Mother Nature will get ride of you. Stop trying to fight back.

Covid is mostly affecting old age population. Virus is most probably genetically modified and designed to answer the dilemma of Western old age Population. For capitalists society, old population is a burden in welfare system with no possibility of future return.

Get rid of what? Molvis? Thats not even topic of discussion and certainly not what i stated.

Bhai mene logo ko criticise kia tha society ko kia tha kay jahan ye situation ho to gorkand ka 100,000 or molvi ka janaza praane ka 50,000 lena banta hy.

Why do you feel the need to criticise people for not knowing how to conduct a janaza ceremony?
It's never been a common thing. Same with the ghusl, in any community there have always been certain people versed in this and they carry this out fi sabeel illah, same with the gravediggers.
Deaths have always been a collective community event.
I don't understand why suddenly you feel that everyone should be able to conduct the janaza ceremony or personally dig a grave, failing which, it is fair that some moulvi would be justified in demanding whatever fee you have been quoting.
It has always been so, nothing has changed.
Your criticism is unjustified, in my opinion.

You do realize that going hungry imlies that one doesnt have any money? And money can be soent on wayy more than just food eg: rent, bills, medicines, and of course, food.

I agree with you and I think we need to work towards this direction.

Absolutely, I think that's not even up for debate.
This is failure of government who is fail to handle this crisis.
Pehley hakoomat corona ka ilaaj gareeb ki range mey laye phir yeh baat karey.
When hospitals and pharmas skyrocketed their prices then what you expect from others.
Aga khan charged 17 lakhs for 10 days corona treatment.google search for more details.you will laugh and cry when you will see the details of bills.
11 thousand rupees injection preice is now 1 lakh.
60 thousands rupees injection price now more than 2 lakhs.why you are expecting charity from corona survivors?
They should definitely charge rich people.but some kind people should think about people who cannot pay.

They should also criminalise over charging and looting of hospitals and pharmas first.
Corona treatment should in reach of poor also but in Pakistan its impossible for poor to get tested and treatment.

Bro, I personally believe that Islam = Quran Hadith and Sunnah. Whatever did not occur from prophet Mohammed PBUH should not be associated with Islam. Prophet's family, and sahabas have their own importance but not to the point where we include them in our religion then it will be considered bidah. Also we can not trust on the authenticity of scriptures on sahabas and prophet's families since their is no mention in Quran or hadith where it says that their words will be protected (authenticated) by allah like he has done for prophet.
It just does not make sense to me that Prophet Mohammed PBUH said that he has completed Islam and what ever comes after him is bidah so then why do we have so many versions of Islam and people dont use common sense.
If Islam was so lenient on thieves then it would not have such severe punishment. Do you think (god forbids) if we go in famine and would it be okay if I keep stealing food from your house and you have nothing left for you and family? Their is absolutely no justification in stealing at all other wise Allah and his prophet would have supported this.
