People selling their plasma to Corona virus patients in exorbitant amount.
There no way of verifying if the donor is an actual covid-19 survivor or an imposter.

I don't agree that they should be paid for their plasma. We are adding to the problem by doing that; instead the govt needs to step in here with the astronomical rates that they're charging.

And then there are people I know who are calling hospitals every week to check if someone requires plasma.

But wait who decide plasma therapy is the cure for COVID ?

It's not a definite cure. There's a trial going on in Pakistan under Dr. Tahir Shamsi and according to some doctors, plasma therapy has brought the death rates down (not much but still something is better than nothing). Only after the results of trials, one can definitely tell whether its an effective treatment. For now, doctors are using everything to save lives and plasma therapy is approved for use in different conditions. In UAE too, plasma therapy is being tested as one of the many possible treatments.

But lets forget about it for a moment and discuss the mentality of our people. Do we deserve prospertity.. NO.

I am a doctor too - and I know of several cases - nationality doesn’t differentiate stupidity desperation and selfish behaviour.
India have a quality base when it comes to pharmaceutical companies and should use their resources to find the golden bullet cure. I sincerely hope someone does and madness like this ceases.
