Chief Minister Mian Shehbaz Sharif has said that ropeways transport system will be introduced in Lahore.

He has directed for feasibility reports to be prepared for ropeways transport at three points in the city i.e. from Imamia Colony to Railway Station, Jehangir Tomb to Greater Iqbal Park, from Jalo Mor to Thokar Niaz Baig and and one from Islamabad to Murree.

. . . .
It's a novel idea... out of box thinking... I like it

. . . .
but why? when will they develop Karachi transport?

He will use Punjab budget not federal...

This can be one of the cheapest mass transport in the world... if it can be successfully implemented... I m not sure it's feasible

Failed attempt.

Karachi is not Punjab's responsibility, It's Sindh government's responsibility. by the way have you Brahimins ever thought about the impoverished hungry, sick and dying south Indians? or you just plunder their wealth and exploit them for the benefit of a minority brahimin cast.

But then what's the difference if in Punjab - Pakistan, the whole budget of the province is being spent on a single city and that too only on the transport...health and education are being neglected deliberately and what about other citiies especially the southern Punjab?

Aug-Oct will be the rainy seaon and the dengue will return. There will be an acute dearth of beds and doctors in the hospitals.

The point is that indian scum was trying to stir ethnic sentiments, my answer is in that background not endorsing the project. I think there are already enough projects to solve transport problems, and the government should wait to see their results before committing further funds for that sector, besides there are numerous other areas that need focus including education, health care, and social services.

Novel Idea?
For God's Sake man!!
Do not cheer every single dumb step just because you support the party! This is perhaps the most stupid idea to have ever come to his mind. For a country like Pakistan with limited finance and budget, he is literally ruining the future spending on such stupid schemes! I hope this is not an other project to shower his blessings upon his very own, but then again, i cannot find it in myself to hope for anything good at all from these people.
