Roketsan Turkey to help Pakistan develop various missiles

If we all should be honest than Pakistan doesn't need any assistance in weapons development but we only need money assistance lol:lol:for R&D than we have potential to do almost anything but we don't got money

even Chinese weapons are inferior to Western technology including Turkish weapons

Turkish weapons have high quality NATO standard

.
Will Pakistan produce this missiles under license or helps TR, PAK with it's own projects?

yah I never claimed that Turkish defence equipments aren't competitive enough but was preferring on in-house technology development but since we don't got money for it there is nothing bad in getting assistance for kick start and this is a wise decision.

Great news. I hope in the future we collaberate between ourselves where the opportunity arises. Its a shame to see two nations who are brothers doing the same thing at the same time, seperately.

If we be logically honest instead of being illogical and honest, then perhaps we can realize that we can't simply just go out and make something which we haven't made before. It takes time, resources, and patience. And when we can get the knowledge that is already in existence instead of sitting down and reinventing the wheel, it only helps us make quick jumps in the tech.

We don't have any Fire and Forget ATGMs and OMTAs and UMTAS can make a hell of a lot of difference, here. Not to forget the lock on after launch feature.

we have the potential like:
Local university develops Pakistan's first Phased Array Radar:

https://www.dawn.com/news/1323372 but no body contacted them and tried to evolve it or we could have manufacture local phased-array radars and it could help in development of AESA too.

Roketsan AS, Turkey is expected to assist Pakistan with various missiles
air-to-air
ground-to-ground
anti-tank UMTAS missile
OMTAS missile technology.
DOU (Document of understanding) has been signed between Pakistan and Turkey.

The DoU was also signed between the Air University Islamabad and Turkey’s Savunma Teknolojileri Muhendislik (STM) at a conference ‘Self-reliance through Research and Development’ organised by the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) on the third day of the IDEAS 2018 at the Karachi Expo Centre. Under this DoU Turkey will help Pakistan improve cyber security of PAF.

If it is real, I think Surface to Air missiles should also be included into likely cooperation areas.

There may be production of T(P?)-129 ammunitions(Cirit,Umtas,Temren etc.) in Pakistan. But the main strategic area should be on fixed-wing platforms. In 10 years, our Pakistan needs to reach its own designed-production air-to-air missile family ( and some advanced technology for guidance kits) if this issue is going with some aid of Turkey, I will strongly support until the end.

This planned budget only includes the state contribution. equity capital of companies and the added value produced by the defense industry in their ecosystem is not included. According to the latest figures, the number of state-funded defense projects has exceeded 600. 80% of these projects are composed of material-process technologies and micro-sub-system components. Turkey has remained of nearly 10 years to complete structural shortcomings. This is the main reason why the disgruntled covert embargo applied against Turkey since 2010s. We have been shifting our money and resources gradually into domestic production for about 20-25 years.

Turkey may not have sufficient capital and human sources by many countries. However, the defense industry is an area of strategic importance that is attributed to all kinds of state support. As a country that has struggled with many embargo condition in the past, we know that the way to develop independent policy is through the strong defense industry. And we understand our brothers who are struggling with the same challenges. buildup in Turkey is not only for us, we believe that our brothers also get strong and independent policies with In this way.
