let me be honest and blunt here sir, I feel sorry for rohith being misguided and driven in to an ideology that eventually led him to commit sucide, nothing else. I don't understand what action does her mother or opposition want modi to take on dattatreya, he behaved in a most civilized way by writing a letter to university VC, asking him to take action against rohith after he along with his friends bet an ABVP leader. It is not like dattatreya sent his goons to bash up rohith or false cases were registered upon him. not to forget the fact that it is rohith, who picked up the fight with ABVP by tearing their posters which was clearly visible from the video released by ABVP students.

I am not saying these because I am a BJP supporter, but this is what the perception is on streets.

Rohith was a coward he will not be missed. History of evolution tells us only fighters survive who adapt to situtation while others go extinct. Five other studends were expelled too, they didn't suicide. Except for flaming casteism in India he didn't do much. Fights about petty issues are common in univs, but this can't be counted as one. Members of ASU with hate against hindus attacked ABVP leaders, not to mention their anti- national stand. They roughed up the ABVP leader and he had to join ICU, that is when dattatretya had involved, and i still stand on my word, writing to the VC to take action on vemula and his batch is matured. For all the hue and cry in media, there is a reason why general population didn't get moved by his suicide. moreover, there was a negative reaction from BC communities when talks on arresting dattatreya was popped up..
