Riyadh, Saudi Arabia | 9th - 10th December 2014
Radar remains amongst the most important of military equipment – whether its used for air traffic management in an increasingly crowded sky, defence & ballistic missile defence or protecting air, sea and land corridors against border incursions, the importance of keeping radar systems up to date cannot be under estimated.
Radar 2014 will look to meet the growing defence needs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and will introduce current, emerging and future radar technologies available for deployment. This unique event in the country is designed to help promote the latest radar systems, integration of radar onto platforms, and proven radar defence applications to match active procurement requirements.
Developed and tailored specifically for the Kingdom, Radar 2014 is set to build on the strong foundations laid at the highly acclaimed & successful Electronic Warfare 2013 conference & exhibition, which was also held in Riyadh. This event was attended by over 600 leading military, government, academic and EW operators.
While defence cutbacks in Europe and North America are on-going, the combined effects of spending in the Middle East - and the increased proliferation there of advanced weapons systems - is expected to drive the military radar market for the foreseeable future. Analysis indicates that this market was worth $8.57bn in 2013 alone.
Various International corporations will participate in this conference including Thales, Selex Es, and Aselsan.
