@xudoai, o, my friend was banned. He said the truth.:-)

There is Thaco Hundai, good enough for Vietnam market

I dont know why he was banned
If you have Hundai, that is a start for you so JVs are common industrial practices and the topic in discussion is our trucks are welcomed in Vietnam. I think the following report in 2014 are still good for reference

Congrats to China.

My countryman is fair when he posted Thaco Foton trucks made in Vietnam with licence from China. But in the same way Thaco cooperated with Korean Hundai company too. This is a business. So users in Vietnam could have more choice. Its fair.

Note that Thaco is private company in Vietnam.

For your pic, what do you mean here ? is this truck made by Foton China ? or made by PLA her-selves ?

That's DF brand heavy truck. It was named 2nd auto factory established in 1960's, Dong Feng was its first brand series. Since 1990's, it also fabricate cars. Later the comapny changed name from 2nd auto factory, into DF Auto Company.

Its reported that Dong Feng is joinventure company too like Foton. its first was established in 1992 with French PSA Group. Known as Dongfeng Citroën Automobile Company (DCAC), it was the forerunner to the current Dongfeng Peugeot-Citroën Automobile Limited (DPCA).

What you said is car fabrication. Truck or commercial autos are not joint-venture.

By the way, DF Auto had bought PSA last year.

The producer, can be joinventure.

By 2003 Dongfeng had established joint ventures with Kia Motors (Dongfeng Yueda Kia Automobile Company, 2002[17]), Honda (Dongfeng Honda Automobile, 2003[18]), and Nissan (Dongfeng Motor Company, 2003[19]). As of 2011 it had more Sino-foreign joint ventures than any other Chinese automaker,[4] and the 2013 creation of a partnership with French Renault means it retains this title today.

In 2009, it sold 1.9 million vehicles[20] ranking second among domestic automakers[21]and third overall.[5]

I hardly say you are incorrect, these joinventure are mainly referring to car brands. DongFeng Auto is a very huge company, which has complicated orgalization, products series and dozens of manufacturing bases.

Dongfeng is mother company, when she has established one joinventure, this joinventure will be the one common branch under control of both side or more, who has joined in to this Joinventure.

Beautiful.

China offers Vietnam so many options to choose from. China's truck truly like a rock.

if I were Vietnam, I would do my best to take full advantage of being so close to the largest manufacturing power and trading nation on the planet.

@Cao Đài , @DaiViet , @Viet
it has reasons why chinese trucks are favorable among vietnamese business. though we have some domestic manufactures, such as fuso (Mitsubishi) vietnam, in coopearation with Mercedes-Benz.
