So, the king as fallen, or rather, the self proclaim king has fallen.

Was expecting to see Mack beat Sun Yang, but I think that's not gonna happen........Sun Yang did not even qualify.

Kind of disappointed if you ask me.

You know, this is exactly some Australian commentator said about China's Sun, that he actually did dope and that's why he did not even put effort into try and win the race. But then again, he did win the 200 event (which is the China's ONLY gold in swimming) so if he was doping he would still have to be tested, Beside, he make that outrageous claim that he is still the king speech publicly over the TV. He surrendered this title with out a fight is more like he was not in form and afraid of losing big to the Australian (Or in the case, the Italian who actually won this event in 2016 just now)

Well, I think nobody will talk about him anymore, he had his best in 2008 and 2012, the SUN has set for SUN Yang, most of other people (The great Ian Thorpe, Grant Hackett) will simply retire gracefully, but seems like Sun Yang do not want to believe his time is up.

Serbia out hustle the Australian Opal 73 : 71, Australia is out of the Women Olympic Basketball......

The Opal did not play like they are world number 2.....to be honest, now I don't think anyone can stop the team USA in the final........

also this mark the first time in 20 years Australia go home without any women basketball medal...

Well it just shows anything can happen in basketball. So far the USA women's team has had a cakewalk while the men's team has had some nailbiters.

Was talking to a self proclaim basketball expert in the Chinese Olympic threads who actually called me a low B basketball player and ask me to learn how to play basketball.

He seems to think the US is going to win a game regardless whatever, in this case, the world number 2 was quite easily beaten by world number 12 Serbia which was an Olympic debut.

Ball is round, and everything can happen, it's not about individual player, it's ALWAYS about how a game was played, in this game, we clearly play a bad game to Serbia, and even tho we are 10 times more likely to win and Liz Cambage dominated (there are no other word for it) the paint, we still come up 2 points short.

I would not say the Opal Choked, but they simply committed too many turnover, It's 26 to 9 and if the opal were playing against the US that game, we would have lost by at least 50 points (considering they convert 80% of the turnover)

Serbian women basketball team are European champions. They were fourth in 2013, and 8th in the world in 2014. FIBA ranking is worthless. Our girls did have some problems in the group, but they were not playing bad. They lost to Spain 59:65, and 67:71 to Canada (even though they were leading in one moment with 18 points, result before the last quarter was 57:42 for Serbia), end we lost to US (84:110), but that was expected. Australia was certainly a favorite in this game, but we are not some no name autsiders either.

Well, all I can say is that Serbia deserve to win today, they played their game, and Australian performance is simply appalling.......We don't move, we don't cut, we make too many mistake/ Australia playing is too complacent and thinking all we need to do is simply pass the ball to cambage and everything is going to be A-OK. Guess what, it wasn't.

Serbia is not the best team between the two, the problem is, the Serbian team are hard on pressing and hustling the Australia, there are way too many unforced turnover, as well as steal, that's why the ball game ended that way.
