Retired officers can’t come on talk shows without ISPR ‘clearance’

.
This is just like ban on freedom of speech. Let leave on public to decide whom to listen or not. You have remote control on your hands.
We have habit of banning, as we are emotional state, First we banned youtube here, then facebook and Now......
maha bharat dekhi hai? us may bhi aissay he rootay hain! hoo bahoo

What about Gen. Musharaf?
This is why I am saying, we should not dictate anyone. Look example of Tukrey, how they turned that country into erdogan colony. There is competly ban on freedom of speech. Student or teacher anyone taking against erdogan, they are throwing them in prison. And we see can unrest there, thousands in prison, while turkey is isolating itself from world due to Erdogan Islamic policies & turkey
moving away from secularism , more it is suffering.

Great desicion .That interview Durrani gave to Al Jazeera was embarassing on a whole new level as far as Pakistans foreign image is concerned. Yes every country in the region engages in acts it would rather the world not know about. The difference is that the Indians and Afghans stay mum about it, whereas our general is flaunting to the world how he sees no problem in civilians dying if it achieves the wider goals of a mission etc. PR failure deluxe.

Good. No disrespect, but sometimes what the retired personnel propose or dictate is outdated, does not fit the context, is over the top, or does not do justification to the actual truth of the situation.
News says they can come to talk talk shows but not as defense analyst

Retired officers are covered by the “we own your *** for all eternity” provision of military laws, that everyone ignores when signing up.
So, errr, no.
