If the Prophet of Allah SWT wanted to kill people for blasphemy than today there would have been no Taif Valley, that old lady who used to throw trash in-front of him when ever he used to walk past her would have been killed too, that man who used to throw mud on his head when he prayed would have been killed too, those men who denied food and water for the Prophet and his family would have been killed too, that poet (Suhail bin Amr) should have been put to death too who composed a poem to ridicule him, the whole of Makkah no in-fact almost the whole of Arabia should have been put to death too because at one time or another they insulted the prophet.

The idea of blasphemy is foreign to Islam. If blasphemy was punishable by death in Islam, then the Prophet would have been the first one to order the killing of hundreds of his foes who later became his closest companions, Islam is not the monopoly of self-imposed scholars without any credentials, they need to be challenged.

I have, the basic issue is that Pakistani expats have only recently started to get involved with US politics and community to represent their country whereas the Indian community has really shined in this.
Hopefully once these people start getting into the system and connect with the media; the image will improve.

We Pakistani are very few and spend money from our own pocket. But, after 911 we encourage every Pakistani in US to say proudly that " yes we are Pakistani" and nationality discussion comes in any mixed environment . Only I have seen few ugly eyebrows from few Indians co worker ...otherwise white people give " shtizz" about nationality issue.
