Pakistan need to concentrate on Jf-17 advanced blocks and also try hard for acquiring atleast 4 squadron of Su-35.

The truth is that the Americans made the offer and the Pakistanis without even giving it a second thought (as usual) accepted the deal. The Americans are exploiting our weakness. They know how to throw which bone. The F-16 is a cursed bone with which they have been bribing Pakistan since the 80s. The ridiculous things we have done for these F-16s. The extreme lengths to which we have gone to just acquire these F-16s. It wasn't worth it back then. It isn't worth it today.

Anything that positively contributes to our national security, is welcome.

We should be thankful to those who are willing to sell us sophisticated weapons, not thankless.

We don't have much options on the table due to limited resources. Therefore, we should make do what we have on the table. Something is better then nothing, right?

Tell me now---how many pakistani fools on this board want the F16----when american congressmen and senators are openly telling them on the world forum that they will put sanctions on them.

These F-16s are given because the Americans want to extract favors in return. You are smart enough to know what these favors are and whether we can deliver on them. Afghanistan is a lost cause and nothing can be done to rectify the mess over there. US expectations from Pakistan are unrealistic. Pakistan should also be honest and stop burning its own house.

On a different note, nothing including F-16s can salvage the terrible relation between these two nations. It is better to look for other options because this isn't the 1980s anymore and Pakistan has other options.

Well i think even if usa want to sell them we should cancel the deal take hard cash and put few money from national tresury buy SU 35 AIt will hurt both US lawmaker who want to stop the deal and india so it will be our counter strategy in future if US do anything it should think russia a supplier to replace important nation pak if it happens USA is in trouble

Sir---it is not against individuals---it is about the heirarchy---. The pilot is just doing his job.

The F16 is the best bang for the buck---there is no doubt about that---but by itself---this plane has issues attached to it---sanctions---.

In order for it to over come that hurdle---paf will have to get another platform---a 4.5 gen aircraft---a couple of sqdrn's.

Once it does that---I would like to see at least 150 aircraft in service---.

This 'sword' of sanctions cannot be allowed to hang in the air just like that---. There has to be a counter action to make it impotent.

no I will leave the threads as they are. Indians tell us they dont care about Pakistan and 8 F-16s since India is launching on a universal conquest but these thread show another story
