From the Comments in NY Times to personal observation speaking with some American friends over last couple of days, I have not many who are very sympathetic to Mr. Doyle's story.

But the story does help the US-Pak relationship for now at least. Somehow, I think, the meeting between Pak Defense Minister and US Vice President a few days ago indeed was fruitful.
