For me..the jawans and the children who practised so hard for this day stole the show.

Those manouvers dont take that much of a hard work by the pilots..children and soldiers would have taken a lot of pain to make such a wonderful show.

1. Yeah, the jawans were great,too. The children........ I think it is kinda wimpy (also include the floats by various ministries in this).

Though, the honest pride that shines on these little faces is something to cherish!

3.Yeah, that is indeed true! I've been part of this parade as a kid and can tell you that the preparations begin at least 3 months back.

P.S. I did not think that it was wimpy when I took part in it!

I seriously meant it buddy and the reason is coz the Pilots do these manouvers for the whole year...they are used to it and very comfortable doing it...and not to forget that they are so skilled and experienced too.

Now buddy..think of the kids...what would they know and 1-2 km walk + dancing or parade is a lot considering their age.

For jawans also it is difficult coz they dont parade for the whole year..some of them might be comming from field areas...and i have been in the NCC and seriously marching for 1-2 kms is very draining.
