Reports of Noshki FC HQ under attack

Seems Nukshi is very easy accessible from Afghanistan. Just next to the Afghan border. Has airstrip, don't know if functional and provide taxi service to Afghanistan. Red dot is Nushki.

Yeah both attacks were purposefully done in cities close to the border, they wanted the teams to have increased chances of success via lesser chances of early detection. The cross border nature of the attacks is a really big issue as showcased in this tragic case.

A few days ago ie on Thursday I had posted this :
Wt a pathetic self-pitting, wrist-slitting lot we have on this thread.
On the faintest sound of anything which remotely sounds like a bang, they have declared it the end of the world hence have already cut open their wrists.

Reason for this sudden uptick in terror attacks :

Plz relax n take a chill. Wt we see now are the last remnants of all the terrorists combined n against ur expectations they will go down as the last spark of a dieing flame.

You need to understand that up till now wt baluchistan has been experiencing a very low-intensity insurgency.
But now has the terrorists have been hounded out of the rest of Pakistan n with the ever tightening noose in afg, they have no where to go but baluchistan.

"we the willing led by the unknowing are doing the impossible for the ungrateful":

had Pakistan been a rich country fc baluchistan would have been trained armed at par with fc kpk long time ago.
But due to a lack of funds we need to prioritize things n as things were manageable a decade or two ago, fc baluchistan was not funded or trained at the same level as fc kpk.
After the drawing down/elimination of insurgency in kpk n the rest of Pakistan minus baluchistan.
With funds becoming available work was started on increasing the size of fc baluchistan along with rearming n retraining it, so as to make it into an effective fighting force.
wt has made fc kpk wt it is today all hard-earned by giving huge sacrifices in blood. I consider fc kpk more battle-hardened than even PA, except SSG (which is at another level).
Fc baluchistan too will have to pass through it as there are no two ways about it.

Aag ka darya hah our doob ka jana hah.

N those who do manage to reach the other end will be men of steel on all accounts.

So wt I foresee a bloody but short insurgency.

It's very very very obvious

When Afghanistan fell, the plans of multiple enemies were destroyed

Once we started to hunt our enemies down they were NEVER going to sit quietly, and a all out attempt to hit back was INEVITABLE

So we are in the middle of a war at the moment that is partly being fought in the shadows against those multiple enemies

Pakistan has WON the strategic battle In the last few years, this terrorism is not going to break Pakistan it's a low level nuisance and the few hundred people dead in a year for a nation of 220 million is nothing

We just need to now HUNT these fcukers down, make the list of enforced disappeared very very long
Ruin the lives of these people, their families and village's
Ruin the lives of baloch"refugees" in Afghanistan

We have time, and resolve and we can hurt our enemies many fold above and beyond what they can do to us

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Saturday that the clearance operation in Balochistan, which was launched after terrorists attacked security forces camps in the province's Panjgur and Naushki areas late on Wednesday evening, had been completed.

Twenty terrorists were killed during operations after the attacks, the military's media affairs wing said in a statement, adding that nine security personnel had embraced martyrdom.

"Both attacks were repulsed successfully by prompt response from troops at both locations," the ISPR said.

It added that nine of the terrorists were killed in Naushki and four security personnel, including an officer, were martyred during an exchange of fire with the militants there.

In Panjgur, the ISPR said, security forces had repulsed the terrorist attack after an intense exchange of fire during which some of the militants had fled the area.

Security forces had carried out a clearance operation to hunt down the hiding terrorists in the vicinity, it said, adding that initially four fleeing terrorists were killed there and as many were encircled by security forces the next day.

"All encircled terrorists were killed in today’s (Saturday) operation as they failed to surrender," the ISPR said.

The military's media wing said five soldiers, including a junior commissioned officer, were martyred and six injured during follow-up operations in Panjgur over the past 72 hours.

Moreover, the ISPR said, three terrorists, including two high-value targets, linked to the attacks were killed in Kech district's Balgatar area on Friday.

These terrorists were killed in a follow up clearance operation conducted at a makeshift terrorist hideout.

"Our security forces stand firm and resolutely committed to eliminating the menace of terrorism from our soil no matter [at] what the cost," the ISPR said.

Earlier, the ISPR had said intelligence agencies had intercepted communications between the terrorists who carried out attacks in Balochistan and their handlers in Afghanistan and India.

The attacks in Naushki and Panjgur were claimed by the banned militant outfit Baloch Liberation Army (BLA).

Nushki is prone to attacks from Afghan based groups aswell as Iran due to close proximity with Zahedan.
A large chunk of militants are settled in there as well
I don't know if 586 km falls under proximity. You can say they can enter from Afghanistan and travel from Kandhar the home of Taliban and attack Nuskhi.

yes it does fall under close proximity and both routes are used.... directly from Zahedan and through Afghanistan......
those settled in Zahedan launch attacks in this area and flee the scene going back to their homes.....
down south most of them are settled in Pasni, Chabahar area and launch attacks in Kech area.....

Recent attackers been noted to escape using Iranian route/land.

You keep on talking about Noshki

But not Panjgur

Guess which country it is close to??? :azn:

Iran and who else. That is no secret.
We will be tightening their screws as well. Very soon.

Yes, Panjgur makes sense. But Zahidan to Nushki its a little over 586 km.

Attacker escape from Nuskhi to Iran ... then we need to retrain our armed forces . Terrorists travel back to Iran unchecked exit/enter and few left.. I am amazed, this is plain barren land..where visibility is over miles ...Our army has major Cobra and MI35 units deployed with night vision recky equip... Recently deployed a few UAV units in that region. But yes on Otherside we have budgetary issues to further finance the border security.

Christine C Fair clearly told Indians that you cannot defeat Pakistan Army due to backing of public. Start reading this thread. You will find some heart broken teens abusing military in the name of merely criticizing leadership and not institute. Now coming to Christine further statement that take away public support and you win but I don't see it happening. Unfortunately, some people did the same job for them being totally high on emotions same as like someone takes high dose of Afghanistan opium.

We took down 20+ of them in 72 hrs.

You might know that Kalbhushan used to meet their assets all over Balochistan and even the way to Karachi, while traveling from Chahbahar. It comes to distance only if the nearest area was constantly attacked.
