Renowned Journalist Imran Khan - Are Pashtuns/others step sons of Pakistan? - Video

The elite oligarchy running the country and drafting the policies- a mix of top militarymen, judges, feudal lords, bureacrats and a few industrialisrs.

The establishment is hugely SLEEPING on PPP.

It's Awami League in ajrak (except more jahil and 100 times more corrupt). They've got Sindhudesh as a perpetual trump card. And they've filled the minds of Sindhis with such toxic hate against Muhajirs and Punjabis.

And it's also sleeping on PTM. PTM is slowly filling the minds of Gen Z Pashtuns with anti state propaganda.

Thank you for answering my question becauseI have genuinely wondered who exactly " the establishment " are when posters on here refer to them. You know I have always maintained that democracy has not and will not sadly work in a country like pakistan.

For democracy to work you need the majority of the people to be educated and have some political maturity this is clearly missing in pakistan. Also pakistan is no homogeneous so you have many different people pushing and pulling it different direction for their own interest never the national interest.

This is why I have said before that pakistan needs a Putin type of leader who is in charge of the country and who is VERY firm on law and order. A benevolent dictatorship but civilian so pakistan sort out it's myriad of issues which mainly stem from lack of law and order. Failing this I don't think pakistan can survive as a viable functioning state.

PTM cadre continue to slander common Punjabis despite knowing that elite of this country do not care about any ethnicity when it comes to their interests. Muhammad Ali Bogra was the one who pushed Bangalis against the wall despite himself being a Bangali, Eskandar Mirza vehemently supported one unit plan and was calling everyone a traitor. He wasnt a Punjabi but drawing room liberals, ethno fascists and self loathing Punjabis blame common Punjabis for all the bad things that are happening in Pakistan. A bit of introspection is needed by these people.

We had Ayub Khan but ethno-nationalists and leftists didn't let him staym

Lol ..another ethnic thread..the anchor himself is Punjabi and out of his complex putting name of Khan to gain some more audience ..
How can we blame punjabis for performance of PPP in Sindh .and same for other provinces

Multiple reasons.

The ethnic nationalist parties are in the business of blackmailing the State. Even the PPP resorts to the same kind of ethnic blackmailing when they think their hold on power in Sindh is under threat.

On the other end, our so called 'liberals/leftists' have their heads so far up their arses that they don't see any issue with promoting an anti-Pakistan, racist and hate-filled narrative (based upon their claims of Punjabi hegemony) because ethnic strife suits their purposes in terms of weakening the Pakistani State.

I'm sure others can elaborate on this subject further.

I sort of agree with you, but I also think the baseless nonsense of punjabi dominance is promoted to keep the heat off from these various ethnic based parties which have not only failed to deliver the most basic of needs for their respective constituents but also they know most punjabis won't challenge these accusations for the sake of national unity.

So in this regard I think we punjabis are also so what to blame for not counteracting these false and baseless accusations. I think it's high time punjabis opened our mouths or else sit back and watch the country disintegrate.

I agree another ethnic thread by the same poster who does nothing but make thread after thread abusing punjabis. I'm not too familiar with pak journalists so didn't know if the journalist in the video was Punjabi or not, regardless I have contacted him a while back asking him why he and other media people keep referring to nawaz sharif wani and pmln as Punjabi when he is kashmiri as are most people that he promoted in his party.

I have not received a answer and I doubt I will.

Also an interesting thought I have had- Azad Kashmiris speak Potohari or Pahari. They carry Potohari clan names and biradaris. They are culturally much more closer to an Abbotabad or Haripur than a Srinagar resident. Kashmiris from the valley are completely different to them.

But it's interesting how they don't choose to identify as Punjabi or Potohari or even Pakistani but choose a Kashmiri identity for themselves.

I'm not the biggest fan of ayub khan mainly because after the assination of the first prime minister of pakistan by a Afghan national, which any other country would have considered a act of war, instead of dealing with Afghanistan ayub khan went after lady fatima jinnah and had she been allowed to campaign properly she would have become pm and thus pakistan might have stood a chance of not only becoming a democracy but having some stability which is needed in order to become a functioning and viable state.

My great grandmother came from azad Kashmir hence I still have some extended family their, and yes we speak pothwari and culturally , linguistically and ethnically are no different to north punjabis. Azad Kashmiris call themselves azad kashmiris because historically the princely state of jammu and Kashmir was always multi linguistic, ethnic and multi religious.

Real koshur speaking ethnic Kashmiris have always only come from the valley. Due to the brutal sikh rule then the brutal Afghan rule and again when a famine happened in the valley many millions sought refuge in punjab hence today there are more kashmiri in punjab than in Iok valley. Nawaz sharif wani and his party of koshur thieves all come from the valley not azad kashmir.

I've over the years I have met kashmiris from Indian occupied Kashmir and they always angrily ask why do the people of azad kashmir call themselves kashmiri when they are not. All the kashmiri muhajir I have met in punjab call themselves kashmiri and rarely marry out. Nawaz sharif wanis both parents are born and bred in Indian occupied Kashmir his mother who is alive is 94 yrs and a fluent Koshur speaker.

It's even worse than that in punjab punjabis don't run the politics of the province , at least haven't for the last 30yrs or so. Also we are a fairly tolerant bunch gave millions of kashmiris refuge many times over and never discriminated against them hence why they have so successfully integrated and done well for themselves be it in business, media , bureaucracy or politics.

We also have many baloch, pashtun, urdu speakers etc living and thriving in our province and have had many CM of punjab who belonged to the aforementioned ethnicities. But still get accused of " Punjabi dominance ".

Very cleverly, you are deliberately diverting/confusing ethnic background of people with their domiciles and regions.

So, what if Nazwaz sharif is of Kashmiri origin???....Even many Punjabis, living in Punjab, can trace their origins to different parts of Pakistan, still this won't disassociate them from being called Punjabi.

How hard it is to understand.

Political party winning in Punjab wins Pakistan...Why no federal government ever did something for Karachi???

Is federal government also has duty to serve Punjab? Those who make government in Punjab, makes government in Pakistan....Why Federal governments of past never did something for Karachi...???

Federal government is considered the government of whole Pakistan not Punjab only....

Listen you thick bigot many punjabis don't trace there heritage to other parts of pakistan we are punjabi the ones that aren't are the one's we have given refuge to in the millions. Nawaz sharif wani is a proud kashmiri he has never hidden this you can check his wiki if you like.

As I have stated before living in punjab dosent make you Punjabi any more than me being a 3rd generation brit makes me english. Are you ethnically sindhi just because your born and bred in the province ? The federal government current and previous can't do anything for sindh or any other province if you all keep setting up ethnic parties and voting for them.

During the flooding of Karachi this was painfully apparent when pm imran khan said that he couldn't do much due to his party having very few seats in sindh. You are simply are virulent anti punjabi racist who makes thread after thread abusing punjabis to avoid taking responsibility for your own collective failures.

Okay. Thanks.

@Ladyuk See, I don't speak on ethnicities unless there is need to.

@To all...These are the double standards which brought us exactly here. The privileged which was always given to them; the UNLAWFUL favors - now these corrupt lot are going rogue.

Lesson - Never trust a corrupt person even if he is from your own family or ethnic background.

Rawalpindi is learning it in hard way. Meanwhile International establishment is laughing their asses off.
this is what i was saying
I don't know how old you are but you clearly are thick as 2 planks of wood. Re read the comments I wrote to you before. You guys who are all brought up on a diet of ethnic supremacy have all set up various parties to this end such as MQM= Indian muhajir party
PPP= sindhi party, BNP = baloch party, ANP = pashtun party and PMLN= kashmiri muhajir party.

You have voted for these ethnic parties when they fail to deliver to take the heat off themselves they shamelessly start blaming punjabis and/or the military who you keep referring to as " punjabi dominated " to abuse and malign them. The journalist in the clip is of pashtun heritage so I'm not surprised by what he is saying, by the way I actually contacted him a few days ago asking him why he and other journalists don't bring up the fact that PMLN is a kashmiri muhajir party and that nawaz sharif wani is NOT Punjabi.

Surprise, surprise no answer these journalist are there not to tell people the truth they are there to do the bidding of whos ever pay role they are on to keep the heat off them and carry on blaming punjabis. As I have said to you before we punjabis are the only group of people who dont have a party based around our ethnicity.
are you saying central punjab is kashmir not punjab:hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::hitwall:

More Beharis in Punjab then Karachi ... people are not aware Punjab has massive population of mohajirs ....

Why Federal governments of past never did something for Karachi...???
Direct that question to the PMLN, PPP & MQM - why are you dragging Punjabis or any other ethnic group into this?

Your problem is your inability to comprehend how politics works in Pakistan, it isn't about ethnicity (broadly speaking), it's about Biradri and electables (Wadera's, Sardars, Zamindars) in all of the provinces, that will shift alliances and allegiances to protect their own interests as necessary.

You have complaints about the lack of development in Karachi, then take it up with the PMLN, PPP, MQM.

Infractions will be issued if this line of ethnic-hatemongering and divisiveness you seem to love continues.
