Renovated memorial for IPKF soldiers - The Hindu
A renovated memorial for Indian Peace Keeping Force (IPKF) soldiers in Palaly, Jaffna, has been declared open. The names of 33 IPKF soldiers who died in the operations in the Northern Province during 1987-1990 have been inscribed on a wall at the memorial site.
Senior officials of the Indian Sri Lankan governments were present at the inauguration of the renovated memorial on Friday last.
