Remembering the martyrs of 17 May,2012

On 17 May,2012 two Risalpur based Mushshak aircraft crashed due to collision while ingressing for close formation landing resulting in loss of 4 officers and one civilian on ground.May Allah grant them highest ranks.

Slight correction: Squadron Leader Zaigham Ali Shah shaheed. For some reason his name was misreported in the media. He is the son of a Air Cmdr Mohammad Ali Shah. He is my cousin and neighbor, and one of the people that inspired me to go into aerospace. He used to take me to his house to play the latest flight simulator games when he wasn't in the PAF yet and I was a kid. When he first got into the academy he had me paint his helmet for him. He was the kind of loving person that lit up the room and is sorely missed. May Allah raise his ranks in Jannah.
